Well, to be honest, I think it's not doing that badly considering how many games we're getting now compared to a few years ago so either they're still making money or they're running a charity. And the market for handheld game only gotten worst in 2015.
Yeah, I saw Shizuka mentioning it, what did he say exactly?Tom's also hinted several times that it will almost certainly be physical. Vita does well for them and a few other niche companies.
Isn't that Ys?
Totally opposite for me I have 26 retail games and none of them is digital. As someone who has never once purchased a physical Vita game... if there's a primo Limited Edition for Blood Drive, I'm probably going to break that trend.

Nice. I don't really like LE so if there's a regular edition I'd rather grab that unless the LE is mind-bogglingly amazing. It's been a while to dig for it, but he's said several times that it would confidently have a physical copy, since it's of course not a PSP title. With luck, there might even be an LE for it.
It'd be a pain to coordinate between the storefronts, but a simultaneous GOG and Steam release of Ys VI (in addition to getting the other installments onto the former) would be cool for building hype.

It's all there in the image:
The soundtrack to Blood Drive is exceptional so an OST would be a worthwhile bonus, IMO. Incidentally, you really do need to play through Book of Shadows beforehand - specifically for the beginning of Chapter 1 and the Blood Drive prologue both of whose events follow the events of Corpse Party: Blood Covered Repeated Fear (which you've already completed).I'm personally hoping for some kind of compilation OST. I loved the music in the first game. Haven't played the second yet, though.
Never played a Corpse Party game, just read one weird manga of it. Was intimidated by the number of different games. I want to make sure I'm enjoying the story to the fullest extent.
What are the games like? What genre and what's the best order to play in?
Incidentally, Blood Drive is almost like a hybrid of the two formats. Obviously, it brings back the gameplay of the first title but there are some extended visual novel segments of considerable length as well.Horror games, play "Corpse Party" on the PSP first. The first one is like a RPGMaker game and the second one is a visual novel like VLR.
It'd also be just dandy if we could finally get the other two Ys games on GOG in the near future...

There are 2 PSP games and this Blood Drive, which all 3 are part of a trilogy.
You can download the psp games from PSN.
Corpse Party -> Book of Shadows -> Blood Drive

Still just Falcom games for me. Brandish, Trails SC, and Ys. And Xanadu Next/Cold Steel from the domain leak thing.

Considering we got SV physical with an artbook/strategy guide & 30+ tracks for $10 more, it sounds possible Blood Drive could get a LE/first print run with its OST included as well. I don't know about the figures, considering we didn't get the SV ones. For reference, the Japanese limited edition of Corpse Party: Blood Drive included two small figures and a soundtrack (38 tracks).
The Legend of Heroes: The Ark of Napishtim (PC)
Wow, when was THAT announced?!
Wow, when was THAT announced?!
I don't know if that's legit, actually. That sale ended a while ago, and Amazon was supposed to take the listing down, but they never did. It's possible Sony will still honor it, as I haven't heard anyone complain that they bought it and got ripped off or anything, but I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to actually be there.

Hooray Corpse Party!
Still need to play Book of Shadows though =/
Hoping NISA pick up the licence for distribution in Europe though, 'else I'm importing.
They've been pretty good lately for EU releases (NISA Store aside...). Nice to see that you guys can get a lot of the Aksys, Atlus, and XSEED (physical) titles there in some way or form! NISA has really grown over the years.
Considering they haven't been properly announced yet, I wouldn't be ruling the idea out just yet. There were plenty of physical releases last year after all -- Rune Factory, Senran, Akiba, etc.
Alright thanks for the info. Maybe I looked at the wrong amazon page since I missed any recent releases haha.Blood Drive will most likely be physical, if you guys read Tom's comments on XSEED Forums.

Any chance XSEED could publish/release Rodea the Sky Soldier?
maybe like one in a million
I'm sad none of the teasers led to Trails of Cold Steel (aka Sen no Kiseki).

If you use a US address, it'll work for people in Canada since they email the code to you. It's possible to redeem US game codes, not PSN money though.Oh right, that bundle is for US accounts only.
