This plus BloodBorne in March will scratch my 3rd person adventure itch real good, at least until UC4 hits. Looks stunning. My only gripe, and it's a shallow and quite demented one, is I wish it was a tad more violent. Like the melees; Galahad running up and punching and head butting dudes just doesn't do it for me. I want Gears of War type carnage; I want to see heads popping with that satisfying crunch. Yes, I know, I may have a problem lol.

Hooooooly shet. I was staying away from the trailer, but I got weak. I caved. My goodness they absolutely nailed that seamless image. Whatever rendering techniques they're using here are just fantastic. That depth of field and motion blur are absolutely stellar.

Excellent work RAD. I hope you all knock it out of the park with this.

You may or may not have a problem, but I have the same problem lol. I agree, should be gorier. Then again, the actual final game could be. I've heard about one particular exceptionally violent weapon in the game that has yet to be shown. And the Arc Rifle and Shotgun certainly pack a gory punch.

The shotgun has dismemberment and the arc rifle blew rebels apart in the E3 footage. I think the game will be plenty gory, especially when the lycans are in play. Stuff like that doesn't usually make it into promotional footage.

I love the looks of weapons in this game. They look like a ton of fun. Good choice of music for the trailer..could have done without those sound bites from fans however.

It would have been fantastic just showing the game for sure. I wonder how much more media we will get in the next month. I have seen enough, I'm sold. I should stay away from any trailers from now on but I'm weak.

The music in this game is going to be fantastic.

What this new trailer shows is the same linear/QTE gameplay with a bunch of people (probably hand picked) hyping the game. I'll will stick with my wait and see stance.

15 months later and on more powerful hardware. It was to be expected as soon as some big first party games hit. You could probably argue that under certain conditions DC already beat it.

I don't get this linear/QTE nonsense. It is what it is and the information has been out there about what the game is going to be for awhile now.They are focused on delivering an interactive action/adventure single player story. Why are people showing up in every thread and posting the same garbage? Are the developers going around saying it is an open world game, or has multiple story paths, or doesn't have QTE's? It is fine if you don't like what they have to offer or need to be convinced before jumping in, but stop expecting things that were never said to be there and shitting on it every chance you get. A promotional trailer has hand picked people praising the game(what a revelation!!).

It is a bad trailer though, the reactions feel fake, it's badly paced and then it ends with a really uninspired gameplay clip that goes on too long. Hopefully the launch trailer will be cut better.

I guess his point is that there is not going to be a surprise here. It will not turn into a visual novel or a 4X strategy game.

You could make a variant of that post for every game that is not Frog Fractions.

Worst trailer I haven't already expunged from my memory, yet. :p Mind you I'm not saying anything about the game, just the trailer. The trailer is pure awful.

- Obnoxious, never ending "fan testimonial" that sounds like a broken record "the graphics, the graphics, the weapons, the graphics".
- The structureless, generic "epic" music that combined with the fact that the sound effects are mixed right out makes it impossible to focus on anything.
- The schizophrenic, half-assed cutting of the footage together. Has no sense of structure or pacing to keep me engaged.
- The fact they had the balls to call it a fucking "Pre-Order Trailer". Blergh!

Again, no comment on the actual game but this trailer just reeks of marketing department driven cynicism that I just can't appreciate.

And my point is that there are many people saying this trailer turned them into believers again when i don't see anything different from previous ones except footage of a bunch of hand picked people hyping the game. So i guess I do also have a point.

This is the most excited I've been about this game. I'm not in any hype level yet, but at least this latest footage got me a bit interested, while i was totally bored of it before.

I believe everything that ever went online, which was pretty much the same encounter/area. And no, I'm not completely interested yet, i just enjoyed the variation in this one at least.
If i get this game, it will be after i am convinced by many reviews and GAF impressions.
