@pukestagram box braids are black culture and the basis of the arguments were that culturally black hairstyles are considered unprofessional and ghetto on black girls, but praised on white girls. it wasn't about feminism.

Why can other people appropriate white culture, and a lot of it, but then those peoples can't be appropriated? We live in a society where it's multi-cultural, what I believe to be the best for society.

However, what's the point of this if things like that happen? It's being an integrated society whilst trying to be segregated. If reactions like this continue it's just furthering 'them' from 'us' and 'us' form 'them'.

I personally think the term of appropriating someone else's culture is fucking stupid, it doesn't matter about the social context. It matters that we're trying to live in a world where the cultural differences don't segregate one from the other...
