I don't know if the franchise is actually as sunk as it appears, or it's just lost a bit of that lustre with the type of crowd that puts 5 rpgs on their top 10 lists.

Trade generic third person shooter for one of the more creative and exciting titles?
QB and H5 could be good games, but people are just not hyped for them. QB is experimental and what was show was technically great but we know to little, and H5 is damaged by the bad Halo products we got recently.

Legend of Zelda games will always have enormous hype no matter how little has been shown, Nintendo fans love Zelda that much.

Man, when I see how this series started - from the humble beginning in 2007 with the PC exclusive W1 (one of my all top 5 games ever), then to W2 in 2011 with bigger budget and more attention from people all over the world to this - on most gaming sides from all over the world the game wins categories for the Most Anticipated game of 2014 - now 2015.. man, I would never believe that a game made in Poland by a not so big Polish game developer beats games with far more bigger budgets and bigger and more famous developers teams from the West...
And all this achieved with hard work, passion for own product and with fair treatment with customers

The only games I'm hyped for more than Zelda U are FF XV and KH III =p

Come on guys, are you hyped for the concept or the gameplay, because the first look was arse.
It is not problem that we are far out, the problem is that MS did not shown anything about campaign [same goes for Tomb Raider].

I don't see what is so creative about No Man Sky's.
4 console exclusives (NMS, Bloodborne, UC4, P5), and 3 "platform prefered" (FF XV, MGS5, Arkham Knight)...
PS4 looks like its going to have another great year.
Much better than 2014 in theory, at least software wise.

Dude, the game is almost a year away, and Nintendo first-party titles have a big tendency to look better and better the closer they get to release. I mean, what we saw was Alpha stuff. It's nowhere near done.

My picks for Most Anticipated 2015 Games
I'm also excited for Final Fantasy XV, but I don't see any indication it's being released this year. it will more than likely be released in 2016, at the earliest. I guess waiting on a game for a freakin decade made me cynical. I also have a naggin feeling Uncharted 4 will also become a 2016 title.

Saying that you're offended that people are hyped for a highly anticipated entry in a well regarded series is generally just a weird, antagonistic thing to say regardless of what the game is.
Ehh... I think some are giving too much importance to this list. Many multiplats aren't on there either but they will probably sell more than a lot of the games on the list.
It's a good list for seeing what many hardcore gamers are pumped for but I don't think it should be viewed/seen for what the mainstream audience wants as a whole.

They are going to help but the system's biggest games in terms of mainstream appeal have pretty much already been released (Mario Kart and Smash).
