Quick question for those with the game, are the camera angle cuts when doing a melee takedown disorienting? That's one thing I've noticed from previous footage that could drive me nuts in the game.

This is something I noticed as well. And since this game is doing everything real-time, it's clearly not a canned scene animation and a deliberate design choice. Seems weird. Would have rather them do the TLOU rapid zoom effect for melee.

I've been taking a leisurely trip through DA:I for the last few weeks. I'm about 105 hours in and been really enjoying it (even the fetch quests) but I'm gonna have to power through it now to get ready for The Order.

I think a gorgeous, sharply focused cinematic game is the perfect follow up to a rambling epic fantasy game!!! Lol.

After watching some vids on YouTube demonstrating the best graphics and art direction I've seen in a game yet, and listening to some of the music which sounds great, and getting opinions from people who seem broadly quite positive about the gameplay - I'm really quite excited to play it. Even if I think £49.99 is not the way the industry should be going.

Yeah, the ones in the kitchen scene look rough. Maybe it's just due to the cramped nature of that room and it won't be an issue elsewhere.

Second Son hasn't been free. First Light, the standalone companion game to it, was on Plus in January but that was about 6 months after it came out.

Switching from gameplay to cutscene was a bit more disorienting as you are walking in one direction and suddenly a cutscene kicks in without any explicit action on your part. Thankfully, it was kept to a minimum and never happens in crucial segments unless there is a transition to a different segment.

Some of the transitions in 1886 are like this but I wish RAD made all of the gameplay to cutscene transitions like MGSV; no camera cuts, just smooth camera rotations from cutscene to gameplay/vice versa. Completely removes the jarring aspect of quick cuts into scenes appearing out of nowhere in other games and 1886.

Agreed. ND should learn from it as well. Those cutscene transitions are often jarring too.

I love Heavy Rain too. I just see no resemblance between the 2 outside of them having cutscenes. Heavy rain was a giant cutscene. Thats like my worst fear for the Order.

Why in the world is this game over 40 GB on PSN????

I wanna download it but my internet is just too damn slow for 40GB+

24 is my personal limit ..... Injustice at 22 gb took me 6 days with my PS4 in rest mode constantly.
