It's enitely possible there was 1 or 2 that went instantly.I honestly never had any desire to get a complete collection of them. And up until this current wave, there weren't any rare ones I really wanted.
Wave 1, I only wanted and got Peach, Mario, DK, Link and Pikachu.
Wave 2, Zelda and Diddy,
Wave 3, Rosalina, Lucario and Toon Link
For Wave 4, I like all of them except Robin, but may just settle for getting just Lucina and Charizard.
It just seems like a waste to try and get all of them, with all the crap going on, either lining up at a store early in sub zero temps or having to quickly get to a website to order at all hours of the night. It really is ridiculous for a $12 toy.

It's really stupid to not have plenty of Shulk amiibos available. It's one of the few amiibos that actually has a purpose outside of Smash Bros.

He's a retailer exclusive in the US.
The Kirby game has functions for three amiibos, but only kirby is really available.

Here's hoping that Wave 4 will be pre-orderable on Amazon US and not all retailer exclusives. Otherwise I don't know if I have the wherewithal to compete with the scalpers.

So three other people came and got out of their car to stand by the entrance. Im freezing the entire time and decided to alternate between staying in my car and standing at the entrance. Eventually a Best Buy employee came to the rescue and took our names so we each get one. They only have four so that worked out! :O
What city are you located in?
In Italy no store has those three unless you pre-ordered from gamestop. MediaWorld has plenty of megaman and sonic but no other three - I suppose they didn't distribute them either or some staff take for them to resell on ebay... as usual...

FNAC is a franch store I know very well (I've had the shop since 20 years) and... I stay away from them for anything limited each time I can.
Don't trust their in-stock status. Simply, don't. I've had numerous orders of in stock products canceled, including Amiibos twice.
I asked people there why they were saying "in stock" for products that aren't (I can understand an error once, but when it's 80% of the time for rare products, that's not a mistake). They explained me that "in stock" is roughly "the product is available for immediate shipping in the maker catalog last time we checked".
Which, in the case of Amiibos, means simply nothing. When they order them to Nintendo, they see they're not available, and they cancel the order.
That's just a stupid way to handle this (they had a lot of troubles building an online store, and it's still mostly a messy thing).
What I mean is: feel free to try, but don't hope too much that the order will be fulfilled because it's "in stock". It's most probably NOT in stock.
Edit : sorry, I missed the cancelling notice, but again, I'm not surprised: typical FNAC behavior.

I'm going to head over to Best Buy on my lunch break to pick up my Meta Knight preorder. I'm hoping they will have a Mega Man, Sonic, Ike or DDD available then but I highly doubt it. Toys R Us is right next door too so I may hop in there and take a look too.

I have it on good authority that Fnac Portugal received 200 of each, for this wave. I'll gladly go back on my opinion if my order gets cancelled but so far i've never had a single issue with their online store, and i've ordered quite a few items.
We'll see.

I just wanted to warn GAFfers that it may be a false hope. Apparently, Dash Kappei wasn't lucky with its FNAC order.
Again, the way they deal with the "in stock" message on their website isn't right at all. More than half of my videogames preorders for limited stuff at FNAC was cancelled. The last one was my Rosalina Amiibo preorder.
I've a Meta knight and Dedede preorder on FNAC (fr), but I simply don't expect them to work. They're still in preparation, and I guess they'll be cancelled in a couple of weeks.

They only take your money when they ship the orders. You probably made an invalid NIF number, that's why they cancelled yours.

This morning I went to a FNAC near my home after leaving my daughter at school. I wanted to check if I could find any amiibo of the last wave released today - there was nothing. Of these ones I want Kind DeDeDe and maybe Meta Knight and Mega Man. :-(
