I don't think I'm going to find a Meta knight. Two Best Buys and nothing but pre-orders left, which apparently they hold for a week so there's no chance of someone forgetting.

At least I got Kirby for "free" after using certificates, the Monster Hunter gift card, and the $5 off Nintendo games coupon BB had for those who missed out on MK.

Since I've had an awful illness since Monday I knew I wasn't even going to try to wait this morning for Meta. But I still had to pick something up there before I go to work today. They apparently only got 2 extra in, and of course the first two people grabbed them. Mind you this is the only Best Buy for about 50 miles.

Pretty awful week for getting amiibos for me this week, on top of getting very ill. No Ike or Dedede for me next week since the GS memo, where I had opportunities to get them before the memo but passed. Missed Meta Knight earlier this week by seconds.

Hey, but at least I finally picked up a Kirby amiibo for free with the new Kirby game today at TRU today.

At Best Buy in Murray, UT. I got here about 8:45, was #4 in line. They just came out and handed out tickets for MK, one for each they have available. There were 7.

About 6 people in line at BB's opening. They had SEVEN in store that weren't pre-ordered. By 10:06 about ten people came in and greeted with a sold out sign by the door.

Got MK, bigger than I thought he'd be. Paint job is not great either. First one I've been disappointed on the paint.

Something about lines. Always talk to people and make conversation. Can make it a little harder for someone else to just be a huge dick with letting friends cut/buying everything by making them empathize with you a bit more.

With more Shulk preorders for a May release he definitely went down a notch.

I got to Best Buy at 7:53 am, was 7th in line for 9:00 am opening. They had 8 extra Meta Knights, and 2 Mega Man. No Ikes, no Dededes. Handed out slips at 8:50 am. About 10 people came too late and got the coupon. I'd imported a Meta Knight from Japan to ensure I got one for my wife, but I kind of wanted one too since he looks so cool.

Had to run to work so I will have to go back later to pick up Rainbow Curse.

Because the vast majority of stock updates are US-based, so it's hard to spot the UK ones.

Just like there is a separate Canadian thread.

Got to BestBuy not expecting anything. I was the 4th person there so I had a good feeling. Manager shows up and asks if We're there for Meta Knight, we all said yes. Then proceeded to hand us tickets for it. He also stated that they'd only received 5 of 'em. Then more and more people start showing up. After the fifth person rolls around we let the others know that they've only got 5. They all give us death stares not believing it, that is until the manager comes back out again and gave away the last ticket. They all pretty much leave except for a few that are still holding out hope for extra ones.

10 rolls around and we all go to customer service to pick them up. Enter a lady we didn't see in line or anywhere 'til they opened. She starts asking about Meta Knight to which the manager tells her that they only got a few and they're all claimed. She looks at him dumbfounded and says "What do you mean they're all claimed?!" He then points to us and tells her we were out there in line for a while. Another death stare ensues. She then turns to one of us and asks how much he wants for it. Manager kindly asks her to step away from Costumer Service.

Long story short, SUCCESS!

Yeah, MK must be super rare. I notice that he's the only retail exclusive that Nintendo World didn't sell before the retail store it was exclusive to did. And they still haven't had MK in yet.

Just redundant to repeat the same info in three seperate threads. If stock updates are US based, that's because us in the US post them. If you have updates for your region, you should post them too.

I'm in the US and I check other regions too and post about them. We even have been posting Wave 4 preorders from other countries even if they don't ship to our region.

What if we post an important update here but you all in the other thread completely miss it? What if you post an important update in the other thread but we miss it? Just redundant to have the same info said in three different places. Why not make a California only Amiibo thread for me then? Or a west coast US one since east coast supply is so different?

Wave 3 Completed. I'm glad that I got it over with but I'm not looking forward for Wave 4.

I know Wave 4 Amiibos is going to be so incredibly hard to get due to heighten awareness of Amiibo supply and demands.

Went to Best Buy to pick up Metaknight. As someone who hasn't really been to one in years, the game section is pretty depressing to look at these days.

It is terrible. They never have anything and it looks like no employee ever arranges the Wii U section. Nintendo needs to work with retailer on getting their game section looking good. They are usually even out of popular titles like Mario Kart and Smash

Yeah, they're just sitting on the shelves here. I went to a few stores today (Denmark) and saw many Marths and about five Villagers just sitting on the shelves

Thanks guy, I made the account and got an address.

Now I'm totally lost. Do I enter that entire line fully into the "address" bar on like yodobashi? I got google translate running, and it's asking for my name and stuff and also phonetically. Do I just enter my name how its spelled in English?

Sorry for these questions. Really new at this.

Yeah same here in Switzerland, I rushed to buy Villager at release because I heard it's selling out, but here we are months after it's release and it's as common as a Mario amiibo

Went to my GS, they said they're suppose to get Sonic, Mega Man, etc. Monday or Tuesday.

Also oh no Project Diva F2 FINALLY goes on sale & I might have enough in credit to get that, but I want Kirby & Rainbow Curse as well....

dont know about that. seems like best buys are actually getting in extra MKs that arent for reserves. that wasnt the case with shulk.
