Best Animated Fight Scenes

Keeping the OP simple in this one. Let's hear what some of your favorite animated fights are. I'm not as well versed as a lot of you guys are in the plethora of animated shows out there, so I'm interested to see what gets brought up. PLEASE TAG SPOILERS WHEN NECESSARY!

For me, the final fight in Avatar: The Last Airbender between
Aang and Ozai.
is definitely up there. This shit is epic not only because of the choreography of the battle, but also because of the great story that led up to it. Check it out here, but if you haven't seen the show yet, DON'T RUIN IT FOR YOURSELF. Wait until you can see it in its full glory.

I'd also throw the Samurai Jack Shinobi duel in there. However, I couldn't find a decent video of that where the sound wasn't lagging or covered up by some shitty fan music. So, just go watch Samurai Jack. Cause it's the shit.

Not necessarily the best, just the first to cross my mind. What about you guys?

I was also going to say "The Last Agni Kai" from the finale. The emotional weight, the music, the coreography, the aftermath. It's goddamn amazing.

In any case, almost every fight from Book 2 onwards is just incredibly well coreographed.
 
Legend of Korra -
Tenzin vs Zaheer

Part of it here

A short but fast-paced battle that manages to show two completely distinct styles of fighting using the same powers. It's also the first time we really see
Tenzin
fight with all he's got, and it comes after a lot of build-up. Season 3 of Korra was up there with the later two seasons of Avatar The Last Airbender as some of the best action animation I've seen.

Spectacular Spider-Man - Gangland

Opera music + A brutal close-range fight in the sewers +
Victory against tombstone
= Awesome. Spectacular Spider-Man generally gets more love for its characterization than anything else, but the fights were ace too.

Samurai Jack - Jack and the Archers

First we see the three blind archers take down an entire army, then we see how Jack has to beat them. Watching that rain of arrows is incredible.

Totally agree with this one. LOK wasn't as good for me as TLA, but it was still solid.
 
Are we talking about best fight scene in an animated series, or fight scenes with especially good animation?

If it's the latter, Batman: The Animated Series has a beautifully animated fight between Batman and Clayface in "Feat of Clay: Part 2". It's not even so much of a physical fight as a psychological one, but the animation of Clayface losing control over his form is some freakin' great stuff, in my opinion.

I wish there were better clips of it on Youtube, but here's the full fight, while here's a higher quality cut of just the ending (where the great animation is). Throw in Shirley Walker's amazing Clayface theme and you've got something really incredible. Even seeing it as a kid, it's stuck with me.

If it's the former, I got nothin', sorry =p

That episode has fantastic animation. Feat of Clay Part 1 has terrible animation by the series' standards, so it's almost like whiplash going to Feat of Clay Part 2 with that wonderful scene.

But the final fight on FMA brotherhood was well done, some of the DC animated movies are great, like Red hood, Korra, especially the Zaheer battles. Old DBZ like with Frieza.
I liked Vampire Hunter D too but i suppose the battle scenes were that impressive.

Korra vs Zaheer
I'll always love this one
, just seeing Korra go full out in the avatar state and combined with the music breathtaking. Always fun just seeing how powerful the avatar state is.
Legend of Korra Book 4 -
Suyin vs Kuvira
is another great fight.
Seeing two top metal benders go all out at each other is quite the spectacle.

Sword of the Stranger is also just packed full of fantastic fights.

This Goku vs. Vegeta fight scene was always my favorite. Only last a couple minutes but its so good. The art quality is some of the best DBZ. Compare to the next scene when the characters have much less detail. The sequence is so much different than anything DBZ. So slow, easy to follow. this is without a doubt my favorite fight scene from any sort of cartoon

DAMNIT! Came here to post this.

My favorite animated fight scene. Chun Li spends most of it getting her ass kicked, but the animators do a great job showing Chun Li defending like a real fighter, and that this isn't another typical female-getting-dominated-by-male fight scene.

They also do a great job showing Chun Li's desperation when she comes back at the end.

They also couldn't have picked a better song.
 
Also, any fight in the Dark Tournament saga from Yu Yu Hakusho.

I'm too lazy to decide on one right now, but I'll just say I'm disappointed by the lack of Genkai fights in the whole series.
