A company being excited for their new game is a huge slap in the face to all the fans that liked their old games.
Yeah that thing looked goofy and impractical since they first showed it.
It's more of a mobile turret for base defense than anything. Can't see it being used on a large scale battle, although I don't know why they wouldn't have a full on armored suit with capable leg actuators instead.
Kojima seems to like awkward/clumsy chicken legged wobots.

When MGSV is done Kojima should write a book on all the design ideas he had for each MGS game that didn't make it in the final game. His ideas are intense.

Well we got FFXV demo impressions and some more FFXIV expansion info that's something you're into. In the other thread someone mentioned that a Gamestop Manager received an email that CE pre orders should be up by Monday but take that with a grain of salt.

I wouldn't get excited it's probably a PR mistake, since Kojima and most people seem to keep calling him Snake instead of Big Boss...which I hope changes, I love the moniker and I wish they would use it more in universe.
Kojima only considers the games he directed as canon ( with the exception of a couple of story points in portable ops ) so the digital comics are meaningless.
