Are there tips for PVP builds yet? I've never been been good at creating builds. Won't hit it until New Game Plus but you stop leveling at 125?

It was usually level 120 or 125 in previous souls games, but it's level 100 in bloodborne according to a poster here, I don't know if that level has been decided by the community or not though as I've been avoiding a lot of Bloodborne discussion to avoid spoilers.

Asked a while back but may have gotten lost. Or may not have happened to anyone....

Anyone had the issue with summoning people from NG into NG+ or vice versa? I had it happen both both ways at CB on my NG+

so, I'm back at the Iosefka Clinic,
I went upstair there was some weird alien thing that I killed, and there is a woman who told me not to come upstair and I ignored her and she killed me :(, I went back for revenge and I now noticed the alien thing is dead but his body is still around, was he an NPC? also should I kill her?, or if I can interact with her is there an absolution like Dark Souls?

Wait, what? Are you sure?

EDIT: that's impossible, you can never even come close to mini-maxing at level 100.

It's just what I did read around there, but don't take it as confirmed, that's why I asked too.

Honestly, I like 120 too, but I can see 100 being the level for PvP, you don't really need as much END like in DS and you can do builds at that level.

Mother fucking fuck.

Had VA down to the last sliver of heath and then got greedy and got my head bashed in.

500+ hours in souls games and I still pull this shit.

My wife actually said to me this morning 'did I hear you making funny noises at the TV last night?'

I just backed up as soon as he started moving for any of his attacks and dodge ruled repeatedly. Lol
Same way you avoid the spiders lol. Roll!
Which ones? Either way, roll like a mad man, when you see the attacks coming.

Thanks for the help. The issue is though, I have tried rolling like a madman, but the
falling rocks
still hit me half of the time. The half of the time is enough to kill me..eventually.

I may be rolling/dodging wrong or something.

finally beat the game but
look like i got bad ending, watch 2 other endings on YT, don't understand at all @@

Which one?

I got me replacing Gerhard. Liked it and it seemed really fitting. Though I only ate 1 umbilical cord which I believe influences the ending. Had all 3 too but didnt know what they did

Hey guys, I have a question I would appreciate some help with. Midgame (I think) spoilers concerning the boss R

, the V

.

I just met this boss (and got stomped), and I remember hearing a tip that you should finish anything else you want to do before beating it, as it is a point of no return. Is that true and if so, should I explore two other locations I have unlocked (Hypogean Gaol and Lecture Hall) first? Or should I just do what I feel like and not worry about/deal with the consequences?

When answering this question, please try not to spoil too much.

Thanks in advance!

Dragged myself away from Chalice Dungeons long enough to progress a bit. Got a couple more bosses down plus one yesterday.

There's a fog door so I didn't label it first try, but the first time I was in here I just homeward boned out without trying. This fight is extremely sloppy on my part, and I'd love to do it again if I could.

This one was first try, but I got way sloppy at the end. Still, loved the general feel and flow of the battle.

As a sidenote, I absolutely loved the (location) F

. I know a lot of people in this thread and the previous OTs have hated it for various reasons but I wish more places were this open, dense, layered, and deadly. I didn't feel like it was too long at all.

I'm not going to progress any more tonight, as I'm going to go back into this area and making damn sure I know every inch.

How do I use the bone I found in the secret area
Old Abandoned Workshop
?

Item description says it speeds up dodging and rolling?

That boss marks about 2/3 of the game, but there's still a fair bit of new optional content to go after you defeat him. That said, the state of the world may change a bit after him, so it'd be good to do the optional stuff available to you before the that happens.

Total noob question: if I fortify my weapon with Blood Stone Shards, can I later slot them into another weapon or are they a one-time consumable?

Blood Shards are used to upgrade your weapon to +1, +2, etc. Once you upgrade the weapon, those materials are consumed and you lose them. A weapon can have gem slots where you can place different blood gems that grant a variety of effects. You can re-use all your blood gems.

I got the same ending. I think i will play it again with new character (my current build is so bad since i don't focus on any weapon) and this time i should pay attention to the world/lore (or just read the lore thread)

Don't use lock on. Sprint into his side and get a few hits in. Be wary of the drop attacks from his minions and anything else regain should take care of. When he let go his attack. Sprint STRAIGHT back from him. When I did this I was not hit once. Create space regain stamina and chanrge into his side again. If he attacks again while charging in i found if you angle your spint slightly all the attacks drop in front of you feet.

Lather rinse repeat and done. He takes pretty big damage in the sides so it should only take a few passes from when he aggroes. Might be easier said then done but if you just stay moving and not worry about the minions you should be right.

Cainhurst down! I got wrecked by those
spider
things in the beginning so I decided, hey why not summon someone to take along on this adventure since I have never done that for normal gameplay, only a boss, and it was wonderful. We made it through the entire thing from beginning to boss and downed the boss together. What a great feeling, a bit like Journey.

Yeah, I also love that summons aren't timed like in DS2. It was a shame that you had to rush things before the summon returned to their world.

I'd rather see people spoiler tagged the mechanics explanation, than part of the boss name. I mean, the name in many cases is not a spoiler at all because the name in many cases does not say anything, but the tactics are often very spoilery.

Not complaining only about you post, I've seen similiar spoiler tagging in this thread before. Just using you as an example. Sorry.

And about the boss in question.
For me, the issue is not the adds, it's the ice attack or whatever it is. But I'm sure I'll manage it eventually.

one time consumable. But you'll always get enough to upgrade new weapons

"Fortify" and "Shards" make me think he means actual +1, +2 upgrades. Those cannot be taken out, repeater.
Thanks guys. I was indeed talking about Blood Shards.
So you get a good stream of these during the game? I should just dump them into my saw cleaver (my only melee weapon so far)?

Ending

It just seemed like a cool thing in this sick demented world that it was just a cycle of people who thought they were helping, but really it was just an endless vicious cycle. You were doomed from the start no matter how many demons you slay. I havent seen the 'real' ending yet but either way i liked the one I got.

Also it would be the most amazing thing ever if you fought yourself at the end of NG+ instead of Gerhard. Won't happen but would be so cool

Soz.

Was trying to be vague in the description but I see where you're coming from. I'll be more more careful with that stuff
