Since were aren't far from e3 I don't expect atonnbut...
What I want:
Xenoblade release date
Wave 4 and additional amiibo info
Mario kart dlc 2
Mewtwo dlc + tourney mode and hopefully a couple surprise stages
Starfox
New devils third footage.
Splatoon release date
Yoshi's wooly world
New surprise Wii u game for holiday 2015.

All I really need:
Mewtwo dlc/tourney mode + confirmation of future smash dlc.

I very badly want PM too. I don't know that the same team at IS does FE and PM. FWIW, I would not expect FE: If to hit until early 2016 in the West. That release window worked out so well for FE: Awakening that I expect they want to repeat their success there. (Awakening also took 10 months to bring to the West.)

As for the Plat rewards, I don't think it's guaranteed we'll hear about those on 4/1, it could be later in April. Unless, did they say it'll be 4/1 for sure? I'd be very glad to be wrong about that. :)

The closure announcement on the CN site explicitly specifies that the window to redeem Elite rewards will be 1-30 April, so I confidently expect to hear about them tomorrow.

You're right about the localization involved in FE (which is why I also don't expect Animal Crossing; no way is it happening in close proximity to Xenoblade X, when you consider the workload from the volume of text) but it is already set for summer in Japan, we haven't heard anything else about first-party releases for the 3DS late in the year, and its announcement in the last Direct fit the same announcement window we had for ALBW in 2013. I don't know what else could take its place. Pokémon Z could show up at any moment as a game to push the New 3DS (either as an exclusive to the new system or something enhanced), as could a sudden announcement of something like a handheld Metroid at E3, but FE has a much bigger profile now than it did years ago and may very well be on track to hit the west in November. It's not a brand Nintendo needs to hedge on anymore.

Reverse April's fool joke. Does Nintendo have the balls to do that?

Nintendo Direct -
Aonuma: Did you really believe me that Zelda Wii U was delayed? It releases Nov 21st, MUAHAHA...oh here is the trailer also.

This would be a crow feast xD

Don't even entertain such a notion, while Nintendo has been known for their quirkiness, that kind of troll would make Kojima and Kamiya's various shit look like child's play. Nintendo is a very large, professional company. An announcement like the delay of Zelda does a lot to hurt their reputation (potentially). I can't see Iwata being OK with something like that.

Midnight in CET, right? Good, I can't be there during work hours, way better watching it at home.

Ahhh I got the e-mail just now. NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS!!! For Wii U and 3DS. That makes me so so excited.

Well they said "new announcements AND updates for Wii U and 3DS," so even with one new announcement they covered that part. However the hype is still real. Choo choo!

It actually airs at midnight (april 1st to 2nd) for Europe so NO JOKES ALLOWED!

Sooo my prediction:
  • Pokemon Rumble World announcement. F2P but heavily financed through micro transations (3DS+U), possible Amiibo support, maybe mobile support
  • N64 Games on WiiU, starting with some classics
  • Yokai Watch localization for EU, release probably Autumn
  • Web eshop
  • Miiverse update / redesign + renaming
  • Some DLC and trailers for upcoming games, apology for Zelda delay but pls understand

One of the few relevant reveals between now and E3. Guessing this will cover info from May until maybe August? Hoping Xenoblade Chronicles X comes up.

I hope we get a date for Fire Emblem IF and Xenoblade X. A new Paper Mario for Wii U in the vein of TTYD would be nice too, but i won't get my hopes too high for that :\

Was that tweet from NoA about PM5 fake? Or it was real and deleted after a few minutes?

I think the game I would want the most is Wave Race 4.

You meant 3?

Wave Race 64
Wave Race: Blue Storm
?

Anyway yeah, i would love to see that. Even an eShop release for 19€.

Not sure what to expect, besides Splatoon release date, but a second batch of DLC for Mario Kart 8 would be welcomed. I have no hopes for Smash DLC, but an announcement of actual interesting characters to be released as DLC after Mewtwo would be great.

Perhaps there will be a Pokémon announcement as well, although I am not confident there will be a new mainline game in 2015 (and I hope there isn't), so who knows. Maybe the Battle Frontier DLC will actually happen? I'd be down for it.

I'd also like 3DS announcements, since it is unlikely that the 3DS will "live" for more than two years from now and it'd be nice if its final years/months had a few great games. A new Mario & Luigi would be nice, after all, the DS got two games of the series. I wouldn't mind a second Paper Mario either... I just hope they don't announce New 3DS exclusive games (aside from ports like Xenoblade).

Is it crazy time already? YES IT IS!

Here we go:

- Nintendo takes in Yu Suzuki and the core team of Shenmue. Shenmue 1&2 HD will be released this fall, Shenmue III in the making. Will take some time (PLEASE UNDERSTAND!)
- German NOE worker that leaked the direct has been taken care off by Nintendo ninjas; all his later posts regarding it being fake... well that wasn't him; *Iwata bows* please understand no leaks
- ZombieU 2 salvaged from Ubisoft; U2 making the soundtrack; co-op, two gamepad implementation
- Platinum is helping with the development of Star Fox. Game will rock; more info next week in gaming magazines!
- Guess what? viewtiful joe remake for the 3DS; because reasons!

hype levels still normal? Well then get into the happening bunker, cause the bombs are falling now!

- APRIL FOOLS! Zelda U coming this year;
- Retro making new Metroid, will be shipped with Samus VR helmet; will make your face melt;
- How about some Advance Wars? Want some? Well i've got some info. IT'S HAPPENING
APRIL FOOLS!

Nintendo UK email says:

So we should be hearing about a new game or two.

we know Pokemon Rumble World is in it, while also BoxBoy could be considered a new game for the West. I wonder if there will be also additional DLC aside MewTwo.

Has a company ever done a big presentation on April first too?
Has a videogame CEO done what they did for E3 with the fighting, etc?

Nintendo is quirky.

They could have easily done it on Friday to escape the April fool's joke ordeal.

Neat, but would they really announce anything huge this close to e3?

Not for Wii U. They might throw 3DS a bone(as there is little announced for this year in the west) ....but with E3 only 11 weeks away I can't see any major bombs being dropped. They'd be stupid if they did.

We'll get new trailers of announced games, new features for announced games and new amiibo's....maybe a couple of big virtual console title announcements as well.

Still it should be decent. I'd imagine the only other directs we get before E3 now will be game specific.
