There is a Tanya that you see and fight in the game, but she uses mixes of stances from other characters. The DLC with have her own 3 stances, moves, etc.

obviously its not fully intalled, we are probably missing some instlal packs. I cant access 3, who is your fourth? (sub zero, scorpion and goro for me)

anyway performance wise rock solid 60fps fully maxed. 1080p, cant seem to downsample (at least not with nvidia's thing).

How would I check if it's fully installed? Everything is ticked in the DLC section for me.

Last character is the one in the bottom left. Don't know his name right now.

you can check by not being able to fully use everything lol. everyone is affected, something went obviously wrong with the new upload system (this is the first game using it), we have to wait it out (or demand refunds i guess)

anyway, how do you do X-Rays lol. want to confirm the 30fps thing

One thing that is bothering me while playing is that I'll do a combo and try to end it with a special move but the wrong one comes out. ex. Jacqui I would input X,Y,X then bck, twds, Y. But I would end up getting bck,twds, X. Maybe I'm too used to Capcom canceling.

X-rays are done witih L2 + R2 on ps. LT and RT on xbox. @Rhaknar

I would turn off negative edge if you haven't already.

L2+R2 or LT+RT with full meter. drops to 30 fps every time for me on PC.

OK so I just read that after you beat the story
you have to then beat the tower with every character and you unlock the extra story mode which continues the story. I believe this because the ending just kinda...ended. It seemed like it just ended prematurely. Hopefully this is true cuz I plan on trying this.

I still dont have Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Goro, Story Mode, Tower Mode, Online and everything is downloaded. This is fucking annoying.

something obviously went wrong with the new "play while downloading" system on steam. we are missing files, we just have to wait it out for now (or demand refunds which is your right)

When watching the opening movie about the Faction War. I keep getting an error o_O. I can't even finish the movie.

Anyone else had this happen?

edit: 3rd time lucky. It got past the movie now without me skipping it lol.

Both kicks give you flip stance. I recommend playing my button layout:
INT FP BP
BLK FK BK

FP+FK will give you throw, just like it's SFIV
Bottom 3 will do x-ray

If they really lowered the hell out of the gold payout in that day one update, after the reviewers had gotten their reviews out, then everyone needs to tweet at Ed Boon and any other NRS employee how much bullshit that is.

I feel you, it took me awhile to play MK9 on stick and I felt like controller was sufficient. I had to force myself to get used to it on stick unlike every other fighter.

The same thing is about to happen with MKX since Im still waiting on Madcatz to send out the next batch of PS4 sticks.

So I heard that a day 1 patch makes it so you get less koins for the Krypt. Is the amount of koins that are given before the patch TOO many? I don't mind grinding a little bit (a part of my kind of enjoys it) but if the balance is totally off, I wouldn't mind getting less. I have yet to see how much things cost in the Krypt this time around.

Netherealm did an incredible job on the animations. Character movement is incredibly fluid compared to previous Mortal Kombat games.
