Shoot projectiles ??????

Also as mentioned above, where is the pc version? I haven't upgraded to next gen consoles and I'm Damn sure not going to get the 360 or ps3 version.

Projectiles? Wtf? That had better be for some competitive multiplayer mode.

Not much of a looker, but I'll keep an eye on it. Hoping this revives the skating genre to the point where we can get a skate 4.

developed by robomodo

Yeah I was hoping they got a competent developer. Didn't robomodo mess up the last game? If they can't even get a remake right it's hard to get excited for this.

I really do hope it turns out well but I'm gonna remain skeptical due to the developer.

As the name indicates, Pro Skater 5 is a call back to the old-school lineage of the first four titles – back when the franchise was in its prime
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH
The game weds the series' finely tuned gameplay with new additions such as power-ups and the ability to shoot projectiles for specific missions.
...oh

What projectiles do y'all think we're talking about here? Drive by paintballing? Spitballs? Blow darts? This matters.

Maybe they're bringing Spidey back and you can shoot web lol

Robomodo again? Definitely waiting for actual user impressions after how much they screwed up THPS HD. The skateboard stuff in Little Big Planet felt more accurate to the physics of older THPS titles than that game did.

Iirc THUG had projectile shooting multiplayer mode. Bigger the combo the more damage the projectile would do. It was an awesome mode, played lots of it with friends.

They messed up the last game... And two before that.

Didn't Tony Hawk 3 and 4 have missions involving power ups and projectiles?

Shoot projectiles out of a skateboard? All I can remember is the online Firefight mode introduced in THUG and what may have been some missions in THUG 2 and THAW.

lmao

download only confirmed

I wanted a full open world title, not made by Robomado

ew no, not open world. levels for the win. i share the Robomodo worries though. at the very least they would have heard the loud, unanimous complaints against THPS HD, so hopefully they've learned and adapted.

No PC, what the fuck is wrong with you Activision, No Destiny, No Tony Hawk, whats so wrong about releasing a Pc version, even Konami release no Pc Versions of their games ( well they have only 2, but still !)

No Wii U or PC, huh? Bit odd, especially since the Guitar Hero reboot was on everything, but cross gen isn't surprising otherwise. Could be fun, but not sure about all that power up stuff.

Don't be so sure, I would bet this is Straight Right's Wii U port, lines up perfectly. It's not M rated (obviously), from a major publisher, and a PS360 port. Also both Shred and Ride were on Wii (though by Buzz Monkey).

Tony Hawk has had a pretty good attendance record on Nintendo systems, really just American Wasteland and PSHD from what I recall being the only exceptions.

I'm there day one, I can't wait for this.

But why does everything I read about this game talk about how the "glory days" of the series were THPS 1-4? THUG was FANTASTIC. And it was highly rated when it came out. I wanted this title to be another THUG game

No Wii U version and I only have a Wii U and this is one of my most played and favorite sport franchises ever... I'm genuinely sad right now. Sighhhhhhhhhhhhh

Nooooooo. I was actually interested, now my hype is gone. Current-gen, Robomodo and shooting projectiles? So disappointing.

Are they fucking kidding me. They really don't get it, do they? People have become tired of the Tony Hawk franchise because of shit like that. All we want is a simple, over-the-top skating game like the first four games.
