Why are only half of these pictures animated? That's so annoying.
What's the worst thing you think she did? I think she truly seems like a good person deep down.
Whenever she has a quiet scene where she's allowed to be introspective, she never comes off as bad.
Like these scenes. I don't see any other way to describe her in these scenes than poor mother.

As I'm typing all this out and thinking back over her scenes, I realize that this might actually make her a better character than the book. But seeing her downfall was so fun in AFFC. That was the most enjoyable part of the book. It won't be fun in the show. It'll just be sad.
House of the Undying shouldn't have been a fucking disaster. Ultra lame.

3&2 were bad.
In rereading 4&5 I just got to the part where Pod joins up with Brienne on the road. Show Pod >>>> Book Pod. I forgot book Pod is a stammering ten year old idiot. Show Pod such a charming doofus.
Also book-Sansa is 13 lol I always always forget how ridiculous book character ages are.

God that smash cut to Pod smiling was the best thing. Serious props to Michele MacLaren and Daniel Portman for that one.
Also, looking at some still shots of the show, was this shot ever actually in the show?
Now I'm worried there was a whole scene of Sand Snake dialogue that they cut because it was even worse than the rest of it.
Who said that we dont get 20 minutes on Sandsnakes in the ... Sand this episode? the still could be from todays episode.

I love the set from that pic. "We need the Sand Snakes to be doing something. They're the nieces of Doran, the owner of that massive beautiful temple we saw in the first or second episode. But our budget is running out, so...let's just put up a weak shelter on the beach..."

Nope, the start of the scene was cut. You can see a brief shot of the very tail end of it in the distance as Ellaria rides up (Obara meditating to prepare for her big monologue, Tyene and Nym bitch slapping each other etc.).

Hopefully not. We got enough of them last week. I also hope the other shit-tier storylines sit one out this week. We desperately need more of Dorne (which hasn't been fleshed out enough at this point to determine its worth, imo) and Arya, whose entire training has taken place off screen thus far.
Talk about kids and such. I just turned 23 yesterday, and I'm definitely not ready for kids yet.
Anyway, back on topic: tonight's episodes is only marked for "Adult Content" and "Adult Language" on the HBO's schedule. Everyone's panic can be aborted.

I"m guessing she's about 16 or 17 in TV time. Would have been about 13 or 14 when the show started since they aged her up. Anything more and it's a bit less realistic that she still hadn't her period.

And yeah, I think we knew there was no nudity in the Sansa scene, but I can't help be disappointed in other regards.

Well she and Pod have likely been on the road for months and she may have spent months in KL. It could be two or three months since the battle at Castle Black and who knows how long it took him to get back there since the show is on a different time lapse. I mean, in the same amount of time Arya went from the mountains of the Vale to the Bloody Gate and then to White Harbor (?) and across the Narrow Sea to Braavos.
Yeah, that's really troubling if there was shit that wasn't good enough for that scene. I'm going to continue to blame Dave Hill and Mark Mylod. It's all their fault, and the show will never have either of them back, and everything will be fine!
Dammit, now you're making me feel old at 27. I spent my unmarried, childless day slacking off, eating cold pizza, and playing Bloodborne to keep myself young at heart. Oh and happy B-day!

They aged up Tommen a lot, so just assume they did the same for Sansa and the rest of the kids on the show. They're all in the 15~17 range.

Book 1 was "followable".
Tyene and Nymeria are top cuties in the show, but I'm really disappointed that they're nothing at all like their counterparts in the books.

Considering how they had to expand the word so quickly in such a limited timeframe, I thought they did a great job.
