I lurked Persona for a bit before saying hi and asking the order I should play the games (having only played and beaten P3P) and they were nice to me
just not to each other. Lol
Mall renovations mean I can't see Mad Max. Will have to wait for DVD or Blu-Ray :crying:

Okay, but does anyone have an idea why MGS-GAF loves to stir shit and get banned?
This. Lol. I mean it's my primary community so I wouldn't know if other communities experience the same levels of bans as us. Also, we're batzi shit crazy!

Unacceptable. It's one of those movies that you need to experience in a movie theater.

Yeah, I know. Gonna watch it on a 51” screen though. Beats watching it from my INSPIRON mini. ( ._.)

Hey guys I found a video where a mexican journalist who was in the MGSVPreview comment about his experience. It's in spanish:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XQXe3Q_cIk#t=33m

Some things that he comment are generally nothing new, but he talk about his experience in the game.
He like the rest of the journalist comment that the game is indeed amazing.

Ah! And he said he was playing the full game, because there were people that I went through the game really fast and some Konami guys did not think it would go that far.

i wonder what he means going through the game fast. like going through the story elements?

Yes, he said that a couple of people moved too much in the history.
They went vey fast, so some Konami guys were watching nearest, because according to him there
were some of them who had not yet seen parts of the game.

Thanks for the link

They also say that you can train with the soldiers in your base and CQC them, nice

edit: how often Big Boss visits Mother Base also affects the morale of your soldiers

Jimmy, meet Jimmy.
I'm thinking of getting the witcher tomorrow. If I didn't like witcher 2 do you guys think I'll like the new one?
I think I disliked 2 because I was playing on PC. I actually didn't get very far mainly because of the controls.
Is it at all like skyrim? I've heard this one is open world.

Everyone was a suspect at first :p your username does make me extra suspicious of you though.......

I've used this username since 2001 with an AIM account I created.

Thankfully child me picked a username that wasn't like 'pikachu2' and I could use it into adulthood without issues. >_>

Yeah you did well there. I used to just use something like "tom0823" or a variant of that.

I didn't enjoy 2 that much either but I am loving Witcher 3, when it works.

I'm having some technical problems that I don't know if it's from my setup or from the game itself. Just been experiencing multiple crashes.

When it's not crashing though, it performs amazingly well at a solid 60+fps and most everything on high/ultra. I'd have much rather gotten the console version had I known it would have these issues though, which should work pretty flawlessly albeit 30fps (if you seriously care so much about that sort of thing; I don't).

It is somewhat open world and I haven't seen a loading screen yet while, but I haven't left the first zone yet. However, the first zone is very large and areas within are seamless.

TL;DR: Get it, but be wary of technical issues of you get it for PC. Definitely get it if you prefer console.

Hey guys,

I just finished MGS 2 HD for the first time yesterday, and I was just wondering: is the deadzone on the analog sticks supposed to be that huge (on PS3)? It makes accurate aiming really hard because you just can't fine tune your shots. It seems like the camera just won't move at all until the stick reaches a certain angle. And when you reach that angle, instead of smoothly accelerating the camera just jumps a small distance to the side (so let's say I'm aiming too much to the left of a guy's head, after the camera "jumps" I'm aiming too much to the right...).

During some sniping sections I had to actually move the camera away from my target before moving it back towards it again in the hope of landing right on top of it instead of 5cm to the side.

I am thinking of going for all the trophies but I can see myself get pretty frustrated with this...

Yeah, aiming can be a bit tricky. I'm kind of used to it tbh. I can understand why you wouldn't like them now, especially if you're only just playing it for the first time.

Okay. I guess I'll have to get used to it then haha. The game's great apart from that though, even if some aspects feel pretty dated.

Looks like I'll be on MB a lot then. Lol, those guys from Konami watching must have been confused.

Fake edit: holy shit, Val!

Standing on the edge of the release date
Like Kojima once said
and the ashes are all cold now
No more Metal gears and the Silent Hills is dead
Whispers in the air tell the rumors
Of the brothers gone
Desolation, devastation
What a mess Konami made, everything went wrong

Waiting for the end of this circus
and the games to begin
Fans draw their swords
form their ranks for Armageddon

Konami´s nuclear
Konami´s wild
They are breaking up inside
A heart of broken glass
Defiled
Deep inside
The abandoned Kojiiiimaaaaa!
