So 2018-2019 release?
God, I hope it's not Ciri.
Her gameplay segments are the weakest aspect in my opinion. She's got far less tools available to her, but thankfully they're really short. I know I'm in the minority, but I find her so uninteresting that it has a slight chance of killing my interest in the series. Unless of course something changes by the end of Wild Hunt, but I don't see that happening.I hope that it's her more than anyone else. It would be really cool to have a woman protagonist in a Witcher game. And I see a lot of people praising her gameplay segments on TW3, which is really cool.
As for the news itself, I'm glad I don't know much about this project or its origins. That way, I don't have to be hyped for now.
not discussing till 2017 that means a 2020 release Kek
Why announce it so early then?
People are forgetting they made that early reveal trailer for the purpose of getting potential employers interested in the project and recruit more staff members.
2017 release would be nice. avoid this downgrade thing that brought some negativity to witcher despite it being amazing.
And the award for earliest announcement ever goes to...
this is the only thing I care about now
in life
I've never heard of that being used as a tactic before but even so, just seems like a long time before initial announcement and whenever this game might be released.

Unless the events of W3 involve her becoming an actual Witcher, it'd be a huge change to drop all the potions and signs stuff, which I don't think she can do.
Delayed discussion of this game is eventually exciting. Premature discussion is underwhelming forever.
That's kind of a shame.
I have to wonder about the point of their Witcher 3 expansions. There's an absurd amount of content in this game, I don't see myself really needing DLC right now.
I don't find her interesting in the slightest. Plus I can't plough ladies of the evening with her.
