Summon Night 5 Physical+Digital Interest Poll Up

Does someone have experience with ordering internationally? What would the shipping cost? I don't even have a PSP but I'd definitely like to support this.
 
Signed up here also. I can't actually recall what the international postage was last time, but I'd allow for $10 at least I guess

That all depends... There won't be a physical at all if there aren't enough signups, so there is that risk, and they don't supply a digital copy, so it's not as good a value (But still a great service to those that miss the pre-order or can't afford it at the time etc)
 
The SN5 Video he put on YouTube has gained hits way faster than any of the CoH videos, and it being a higher budget type title should help with getting more people than the past releases, so I'm relatively confident/hopeful it will happen

It's also a more expensive license. Pretty good jump from CoH2-3, which we're not passing straight through. Also, this is for essentially TWO copies of the game, one physical and one digital download code. NO other console publisher does that.

The packaging will be the best one yet, and if what I'm attempting for one of the extras pencils out cost-wise, what we're doing will be a first, and will be copied once other pubs see it.

UMDs are still being made. The manufacture is consolidated worldwide, so the lead time is going up from last time - but they're still being made.

The advantage of the physical+digital bundle we're doing is it includes Vita fans, who can play the PSP game using the included (emailed) digital download code, and also collectors who want pristine copies can leave the physical sealed and use the download code instead.

Also, as with Class of Heroes 2/2G, this isn't just about Summon Night 5. If we can show a growing support for what we're doing, it gives us access to more games on more recent platforms that may never come to the West otherwise. I said that with CoH2 and the support we got allowed us to make the Summon Night deal happen.

Strong support of the Summon Night 5 presale will give us a strong chance at enabling at least one of the "next level" RPG deals we've been working toward on much newer platforms.
 
I'm still hoping it'll reach it, I want to have a physical copy to complement my PSP collection. Do you have an idea of how much the standalone digital version will be?

You're commitment to getting physical copies out when other publishers don't make it a priority is exactly why I put in I would buy 2 in the poll. I really do hope other publishers take notice of what you're doing.

I have a rough idea, but it won't be a huge discount from the physical+digital bundle.

That's unfortunate, but it couldn't hurt to try. I know some of their staff post here, and they seem pretty cool. I'm sure Sony will support you, at least. Is it on the playstation blog yet?
 
A little expensive for me given the shipping fees here in Asia so I'll go digital. Hoping those who want physical copies can reach the target number though.
 
We're over 1600 on the Summon Night 5 poll now, which is far ahead of where we were with CoH2G's poll at this same point. Thanks to all for the support and spreading the word about the poll!

Yes. A Physical copy of the game and a digital download code that will work on PSP or Vita (running the game in PSP emulation). It's a far better deal than waiting for the PSN release because you have a physical copy, too.
 
Added the opening trailer to the OP. I can confidently say I know nothing about the game other than there are people causing explosions, running away from explosions, and there is a big blob.

It's a strategy/RPG with a relationship management system. After each chapter in the story you choose to cultivate a relationship with other members of the party via "Night Conversations". How your relationships turn out dictates which of the multiple endings you get.

There's a ton of dialogue in the game, but on one playthrough only about 1/5-1/6th will be seen due to the fact that you have a choice of two protagonists and four Crosses (partners), so there are many variations on any given scene.

The presale poll is over 2000 a little over 4 days in, so we're 1/3 of the way there, but it will probably slow substantially over the weekend. It did that on both prior campaigns for CoH2/2G.
 
If you don't reach the goal for the physical version, will you ever show us a prototype of the LE or tell us what was in it? I'd like to know what exactly would have been in it, the way it's being hyped up.

It's clearly going to meet the goal.
 
Just need to keep the exposure up. Since CoH isn't my cup of tea, I really hope we can make it. Just need to tell everyone and every relevant news outlet.
