Then in Halo Reach, they kept part of that AI and then taught Wraiths how to fire backwards.

FUCK

ODST Hunters were awesome.

EDIT:
I think that was more of how they made ODST troopers weaker than Spartans.

One thing I love about ODST is the way crouch walking is. Really love the body sway and how you feel like your sneaking.
Yeah that was definitely a big part of it, how weak you were as an ODST. That tense feeling you'd get when encountering tough odds to overcome felt good.

Can we blame the man for going in to hiding?

Never really liked U4iax or whatever. His attitude isn't news to me. When is it ever okay to talk to ppl like that? I get the politics and all but the man is human.
Can see why THC went to flames doing "business" with someone like that managing it.

And Relic is an okay map. Not my favorite. But the remake looks like it plays well for this Dlc. May not turn out popular in the scene but I don't think that was the intended design.

See, I never really got that impression. You weren't really any weaker than a Spartan, you just didn't have the shield bar outlined.

Getting there.

Still need to work on lighting, textures, adding environment details, optimization, a working minimap, and making it so you can actually play on the damn thing, but then it should good to go.

There wasn't too much of a reduction in your strength, which was probably due to the concessions to gameplay—they weren't going to remove boarding and flipping vehicles. But all the other weaknesses, return to health packs, definitely contribute to feeling weaker.

Take it how you will, but it's right about the controller and the alan wake stuff, alot is questionable is however.

please don't do this unless you want to be held responsible if it doesn't come true; this is obviously nonsense. the conferences are not part of E3, they are separate private events booked at different venues. no one has access to the teleprompter for multiple events. you don't even need to read the list to know the person described does not exist and thus the list is bogus. the fact that most of the entries use european-style title capitalization, many of the things mentioned are confirmations of very specific names and rumours from a long time ago ("comet" expansion--from bungie's 2008 contract with activision); sega owns the outrun brand. it's not even remotely believable. please don't post this stuff.

And yet... there's still something about the classical colour-change that just makes it special. :p

I dunno. Gold Hunters just seemed like WOW, even though it made no sense.

I was just thinking back to Golden Axe days where you'd get blue/red/green/grey baddies of different difficulty, I guess. The Elites had that in droves throughout the series, so why not the Hunters? I guess...................

Just beat ODST on Legendary and in the process of doing so for H2A. Soooo good.

But please add Firefight. I'd happily pay for it. Even if it was just a few community favorite maps.

I wish there was a Crossgame playlist in MCC that incorporated ODST into the middle of H2A. So, Cairo->Outskirts->Metropolis->Prepare to Drop->Mombasa Streets->...->Coastal Highway->Arbiter/Delta Halo

Not really interested in a Reach port/remaster. Not my favorite Halo game so I couldn't really care less if it ever makes it over.

Halo 4 had a decent standalone soundtrack. It just wasn't as memorable as the original themes that Halo has had and a lot of it didn't feel lime it meshed with Halo's identity from an audio standpoint. I'm really excited to see what Kazuma comes up with for Halo 5 though.

Some kind of Vanilla Chocolate Swirl of the Halo theme would be amazing.

No Sonic this year. Pack it up B O Y S.
Gaming is dad

Best part of Sonic was the chao world. Yeah I said it. I had many children
Those little bastards were made of pure diabeetus

I loved them so...

Looking really good dude. Keeo at it!

Ohhh interesting. Have you beaten ODST on legendary before? If not, how was it overall beating it for the first time for you??

Beating it on Legend felt so rewarding because it was, imho, next to CE one of the hardest campaigns in all of the fps halo games.

If I had the money and people to put out whatever games I wanted like a crazy man, the top two picks would be an open-world Jurassic Park survival game, and Halo Battlefront. No question.

Anyone have trouble with the audio log achievements not unlocking? I was trying to get them earlier when I noticed that the 11th never popped but the 12th did. I tried quitting and reloading the game and even playing the 11th log again from the VISR. Unfortunately, the game throws you a checkpoint after getting a new log so I can't go back to retrieve it again. It's not stuck on the "Unlocking" either, it just didn't unlock to begin with. Any fix for this?

Spike grenades seem absurdly effective in Normal. Don't know about Heroic or Legendary.
Yeah, it's a different story on Legendary. I can peg them with several grenades and they're still going strong.

Edit : Speaking of ODST achievements, I got a "four kills with one grenade" achievement after killing just one or two grunts with a frag, lol.

I would think the suppressed SMG would be pretty good at killing Hunters considering how heavily anti-health it is.

The fuckers never turn around long enough for me to aim at their back. I've only encountered one pair so far in my current play through, but their melee reach was INSANE. I couldn't let them get close to me, and I could rarely flank them. So I just high tailed it to the next section.

I actually haven't had any issues with Remnant besides it taking forever to load.
It gets really choppy for me sometimes when I'm around the central structure. It's happened in every game I played on it. In custom games when walking around the map by myself, it happens a little, but not to as great an extent. It's a similar issue as I've had when playing Stonetown, which has happened since the game released. I'm glad you haven't had issues though.

You didn't throw grenades nearly as far and they had a much larger lob to them. Also, and it's been a while so correct me if I'm wrong, you ran slower and didn't jump as high.

I beat it on Legendary when it first came out, but six years later, it felt like a new experience. I just had a blast playing it. Some of the fights, especially against the ridiculously aggressive hunters, were extremely satisfying when I was victorious.

This is my first time, though, going through H2 on Legendary, and now I finally understand the Jackal Sniper phobia. I'm shuddering right now just thinking about them.

The grenades not traveling as far and the jump high being lower are true. Not sure about movement speed though.
