Release?
Spring 2016
Release?
noooooooooooooooo spring 2016!
what? no. next year, spring
I don't know what they could do to make it fresh. Maybe tone down the shooting a little? I'm just sick of playing what feels like the exact same game over and over. To be fair they are giving the IP a little rest this time with a 3 year gap, but I'm still so very much burnt on this formula. Hopefully they'll do something to make this one stand out, but I'm not very confident judging from the video.
Because price is a good indicator of how long or content rich a game is?
So a game with more replay value than most games is 40 compared to 60? Lol

Pretty honest on their part to price it at 40$ considering it will share a lot of contents with the original game and I guess it won't have multiplayer. It will benefit sales a lot.
Looks amazing! Day one for me. Will this be the only project you show at E3?
As it pertains to this game what is the difference? If you can tell me how much the animation will improve - please do so - measure it, give me the example. Since you're not the developer, you sadly can't. You can just speculate that a higher frame-rate will equal smoother animations from what's already smooth animation - a more is better argument. That's defined as a hypothetical.
Will you ever see the game in 60 fps? No. So in short, debating an improvement that your eyes will never see.

Is this actually launching at $40? Is it crazy short or something? Looks incredible
$40? Awesome. Too bad I live I'm Canada.
Wtf... If this wasn't saved for E3, what is Sony planning on showcasing at E3?
I'm ok that. I really think Sony needs to focus more on Morpheus.

I WANT IT NOW!!!!
I hope its 60fps. Graphics look amazing so far.
.
Pretty much.Okay people, you know why everything comes out at $60??
Because when a game isn't priced at $60, people assume it'll be short and/or bad.
What are you talking about? Of course the game would be smoother, by your definition even if the game slows to a crawl at 10fps the animation would still be "smooth" because they supposedly work independently to the frame-rate. There's this thing called PC and like most games that are based around 30fps, the difference is staggering when double the frame-rate. That is undisputed.
Here, even Uncharted 4, game confirmed to be 30fps has had a 60fps video modification you can view right here and clearly the difference in animation quality is night and day. No excuse now since you can literally switch between 30 and 60 on the fly. (Click 720 or 1080p for 60fps)

People complaining a game is not full price lol. Developers cannot win.
