As someone who has no interest whatsoever in Japanese games.... This has been highly disappointing. At least Horizon and Uncharted looked amazing.

Sony really screwed themselves. They can never top this. Like... So many hopes and dreams filled. This is a fanfiction. First they save gaming. Then they save gaming again.

I agree with the YouTube panel on the Sony conference.

It gets a A+ for hype, that is for sure. But once the dust settles, the big highlights for me were:

A kickstarter

FFVII remake (not console exclusive, like the port was) and a CG trailer with No release date

No Mans Sky no release date

The Last Guardian looking EXACTLY like it did 6 years ago

Sony have pulled a blinder on the hype side of things. But what strong titles do they have coming for this holiday that need a PS4?

Yeah it seemed neat. I know pretty much nothing about the series though so I don't really have an attachment to it. Much like the Tomb Raider set I feel that the vast majority of it is just better experienced as not a video game.

Loads of stuff shown and it was shorter than usual, my only complaint is that I felt they rushed through some of that games and I'd like to have seen more of them. Glad they didn't bother with VR, it's not really the right environment for it.

I loved the Media Molecule showing, looked completely different to anything that I've seen before. Incredibly beautiful.

It seems that the PS4 media app is going up today at some point.

Gonna have to agree with this. Uncharted 4 did look fucking amazing though.

Will be here tomorrow when people realize that they only announced a couple first party games and they won't even be out by E3 next year.

I was hyped during it, but now I'm realizing that they just showed stuff that was going to come eventually that we already knew was coming. Not much for this year though when it comes to first party.

Thought Emoji Movie was good. Take that as you will.
That was like the worst part of a UC game to show.. I still want to play it.. but that wasn't impressive.

Last Guardian looked like shit.

Shenmue 3 being a KS was a letdown.

FF7 thing has me excited.

Weird.. I've wanted 2 of those things for like ever.. but overall I was a bit letdown.

Battlefront has this weird look of old OG CD-based games (the bad ones) but in HD. Not that it plays like one.. but it looks weird. Still want it though.

I actually liked the BO3 campaign thing.. looks super fun.

Easily the best conf (cause shenmu and ff7)

++++ no morpheus
++ ff7 remake (+++and not exclusive)
++ shenmue II (+++ not exclusive)
+ horizon setting fresh (need details)

+ music / video stuff even if not for european like me (seem pretty interesting)

no comment : no man sky (dunno what to think of it, seems boring outside the crazy procedural tech)

- classic uncharted shown (where is tr like level design like previous gameplay ?)
-- the last guardian seems to bring uefa boreness and emptiness to new high
--- dreams (they need to go further than sparke and they do less than in their limited lbp)

I think it was a solid conference since at least they cut down the fat and didn't lose much time with things like VR or their services, but exclusive content wise wasn't that great other than TLG being alive.

A solid 8/10 and so far the best of E3 but far from perfect when most of the content I could get it in the future also on PC.

I'm glad it wasn't just me.

I'm not into shooters, but CoD Multiplayer looked SUPER hype, and almost sold me on the game right then and there.

If someone told you a few weeks ago that you'd see The Last Guardian, FF7 Remake and Shenmue III on stage at this conference you'd probably die laughing.

Previous Sony conferences pale in comparison to this.

Still can't believe it.

Persona, Hunger, Wild, GT7, Bloodborne Expansion, God of War 4. As incredible as that conference was Sony still has plenty of really hard swings left.

I can't at how good this E3 was for Sony.

The Last Guardian really made me cry. I'm so glad it's alive!!!
Horizon is stunning, and I want to play it now!
No Man's Sky is awesome as per, and I can't get over how vast it is.
Final Fantasy VII Remake I didn't think was going to happen at all, but I'm hyped for it.
Uncharted 4... yeah, no words. Naughty Dog are truly gods. So impressed.

I just... wow. Sony, good job. Bravo!

I am so glad I decided to go on a GAF blackout as to not be spoiled by anything. FF7 and Shenmue came out of NOWHERE

It didn't even cross my fucking MIND that either would be shown. And not only did they show, they were basically back to back right after my most anticipated game of the last decade, The last Guardian.

God DAMN, Sony... GOD FUCKING DAMN SON! That'll do...

edit - And Horizon and UC4 looked fucking tits too!! Fuck this conference was amazing.

I am in shock, 43 years old and I was lost for words. There was a tear in my eye when I realised Final Fantasy VII was being remade, these last few weeks have been out of this world and I'm in shock.

It was the E3 of a lifetime for a guy like me. Just have no words.

TLG, SFV, FFVIIR, Shenmue 3, Uncharted 4, just, wow.
