It's not hard at all, but The People need something to gripe about before lunch!

Yeah I'm getting pretty hungry myself ;)

I wouldn't say they were griping, just expressing desire for a toggle so they never have to worry about accidentally going into an assassinating animation. We have all done it I'm sure.

I've never really seen the point of assassinations. They're cool the first two times you do them but then the animations start to repeat and it's just a bit boring. I never ran into the issue of accidentally enabling them instead of a standard beat down though.

That said, having customisable animations is fairly cool, I imagine I might use it more if I'm going to be seeing cool new animations.

True. I was always fond of the tackle to the ground assassination. Was that from Reach? It genuinely suprised me when it happened to me and would make me laugh.

yeah count me out on the insect covy designs.

I think Arbiter armor took a bad hit too. Mainly his new stupid helmet.


Anyone saw the new Wraith? Looks fkn weird.

The Halo 4 designs were pointing out those insect designs, more with the harverster, weird since the covenant are a mixture of cultures

Ok so this is a long shot but

I have no interest in assassination animations. (In fact I prefered watching the enemy Spartan rag doll)

Now that I can customise my assassination animation can I have a customisation option which is simply 'off'?

Getting trapped into an animation when I accidentally hold the button down too long sucked.

I think the assassinations in Halo 5 are still Halo 4 assassinations?

I hope they were able to figure out the needler ammo color situation. Would be pretty cool to shoot green or red needles temporarily.

Maybe even for some other of the covie guns, shoot different color plasma.

100% seriously lots of customization options without even changing the guns...hopefully they do this

6 is a lot for Warzone, makes me think that there aren't any BTB maps finished and we will have to wait a while for the mode.

While 343 Industries recently confirmed that Big Team Battle won’t be a playlist at launch, it will be available in the weeks after the game launches, not months.
 
So, why even delay it then?

Holmes assured us that this was to focus on a bug free Warzone experience and they only had the manpower to focus on one of these experiences and not both at the same time. Big Team Battle in Halo 5: Guardians will have its own unique maps and will not be modified variants of existing Arena maps.

Okay well that's good. Then I wonder if the Warzone maps also have remixes as I previously doubted they would. 3 maps with 3 each with a remix would make sense. Would be cool to see some different weather and time of day on big maps.

Re s2e2 of the sprint...

Those normal mapped helmet huds look fucking awesome! PLEASE get that in the final game, it goes a long way to really immersing the player into each Spartans helmet and just packs such a "next gen" punch. I also love the attention to detail displayed with each helmets display differences. I wonder if that, and the normals, will make it into multiplayer with spartan customization as well.

Great job with these sprints, yes please on those terrific HUD displays!!!

From the interview, I love how there is a strong push at 343 to bring back random selection of maps/gametypes in matchmaking.

Having the option to vote/veto is great but it can lead to a stale experience when people vote for the same thing time and time again. I'm guilty of voting for my favorites consistently and making my own experience stale.

According to Moa on the Beyond forums the animation is very fast.
