I feel sad, as a Nintendo fan, a gamer and a person. He's leaving a legacy and one of the most beloved companies I know. Rest in peace.

The thought of watching a Direct without him actually makes me very very sad.

Never met the man, yet he had an impact on my life almost everyday.

I wish I could've thanked him for all of his contributions

What the fuck? This seems out of the blue for me. Did he have serious health problems?

I'm pretty upset now. Rest in peace.

RIP. I am shocked. Not even a big Nintendo fan, but I'm so used to seeing Iwata around since the GC era. I am so just shocked at this news. Completely unexpected.

So, that is the reason why he didn't come to E3 for the past couple of years :(

We all knew he was sick, but I thought he was getting better. And here we were thinking that it was because of lack of hardware talk :(

First death that makes me really upset in almost all my life.

I'm really sad about this. It came out of almost nowhere.

I dread to think about the next Nintendo Direct, I don't know if anyone will be able to do it with the warmth and charm of Iwata
