In fact I'd argue that they could be used to make a smaller, lower-budget game, which is what the PS4 is lacking in.
That doesn't make any sense at all. Rocket League, Until Dawn, The Tomorrow Children . They are investing in smaller titles.
Yes that Is all that's on offer there are no other games at all.
Joke post? Those are still resources that could be used to make actually new games. In fact I'd argue that they could be used to make a smaller, lower-budget game, which is what the PS4 is lacking in.
Hasnt Beyond: Two Souls been rumoured for years at this point?
There's screenshots even! It's been officially announced already.
Isn't Rocket league an indie game? Not sure about the other 2.
But I think the point the person you quoted is trying to make is that Sony could take the money being used to fund remasters and instead use it to make a brand new smaller title.

Probably because games this generation require tons of more time? MS side hasn't released so much more. Sometimes people are completely irrational and likes just to complain. There is any kind of relation with remaster and lack of new game releasing.Sony themselves have had pretty shitty output this gen so far. They're relying far too heavily on other companies to fill out their lineup. It's hard to complain about taking extra time to finish a game, but for fucks sake, shit or get off the pot. Sony has spent the last two years riding the wave of their and MS E3 announcements with very little reason for their continued success. I guess it makes business sense for them to sit back while they're already successful. It would just be nice if they did more to justify their #1 standing right now.
Most of bc games run at the same or a bit better, also the whole point of remaster isto charge you to be able play your old games. Ports like gears ue or metro redux are to give you a modern experience
Sony's already funding dozens of smaller and AAA titles. They have a good balance of everything.Isn't Rocket league an indie game? Not sure about the other 2.

It's still a dumb point. Not only because of the fact that they have been funding quite a lot of smaller titlesIsn't Rocket league an indie game? Not sure about the other 2.

Where the hell she at Sony?
Tokyo Jungle PS4, make it happen Sony.
Folklore?
It does? Pretty sure the PS3 sales were well over a million and that was not at a discount price and according to Steamspy VC PC is not even at 500k copies sold. That's with some huge discounts to single-digit prices.Especially after it being quite safe to say that Steam makes up the majority of VC1 sales.
Uhh the gyro controls kind of suck. You're better off just using the right stick as camera control.I can't even imagine playing Gravity Rush on a big screen. It will look beautiful but the gameplay just fits the handheld so damn well. With Gyro controls especially, moving around your vita to get the right angle and such was a lot of fun ...
I know GR2 won't be on vita ..it makes me really sad
I don't care how many times it's been quoted - first post, yet again. A proud NeoGAF tradition.
Where the hell she at Sony?
Yes indeedy. Most of the reason I want a GR remaster is so that the controls can be fixed. It ain't no Splatoon in terms of gyro controls, folks.Uhh the gyro controls kind of suck. You're better off just using the right stick as camera control.
You don't dictate what is of good or poor value for other people. And you're oversimplifying things.
I know SOMEONE here is going to say that Valkyria Chronicles was a "Million Seller" on PS3. No. No it wasn't. Those are Chaaaaaartzzzzzz numbers. If it was a "Million Seller", we'd be looking at VC2 and 3 being PS3 games, and 3 being localized, now wouldn't we?
Because I think people like you undervalue other people's hard work.I'm not dictating anything, I am pointing out that I feel people should get better value. And yes that is simple, overcomplicating leads to obfuscation, you are happy with the current value from remasters as I said earlier, good for you, but why would it bother you that someone is willing to stand up and say you deserve more?
This is sort of pathetic.
I have nothing against them remastering PS3 games but when you consider the drought of actual PS4 exclusives at the moment this is a bit stupid.

You're discounting crazy Sega logic in your assumption. They saw those crazy Monster Hunter sales when it went PSP exclusive and just assumed VC would catch on better as a mobile game. And then when it didn't with VC2, they decided to try again with another PSP exclusive. And then when that didn't work they just assumed nobody likes the series, until Steam happened.
There are so many PS3 games that I thought performed like ass even when they were new, so why not? The real shame is that developers are making the same mistake again by putting out sub-30 games for the PS4.
