Wacky drug guy and desperate guy are treated entirely way different by the internet and you damn well know it.
No one is going to enact internet justice over crazy guy jumping on a car. We sure as hell know that it isn't the case here.

Anymore, I can't tell. People throw around insults like "kill yourself" and such so casually, that I don't think many internet mob groups would blink if someone died as a result. They would probably post stuff like "good" if it did.
Now, he does deserve criticism, considering the fool he's made himself out to be (and continues to), which isn't helping matters.

Blah. He was briefly in college with me at Notre Dame and I would not be surprised to see him commit suicide. I wasn't friends with him but it is sad to see knowing all he's been through.

I asked him that. I genuinely feel sorry for the guy, whether he's a lifetime creep or he's going through a massive creep phase it doesn't seem right for this collective public shaming exercise against him to kick in. I hope he gets some help.
On the other hand, he's not helping in the slightest, that beard tho.

You have to ignore that he is harassing women, to find any common ground in your posts. You have to ignore all of his behavior, to pretend that hes a victim. You have to also ignore that he will get full support from Redpillers/NoMAAMers and Gamergaters, to come to a conclusion that the internet is possibly going to cause him to kill himself due to the reaction hes getting.
He could very well be mentally ill. A lot of people are. But there is no reason to believe that he is getting down in the dumps, to the point of suicide. Thats a leap. Nothing on paper is showing this. You have to assume that hes fragile, and on the verge of killing himself, and the response to his harassment is just what will push him over the edge. There is a lot of guesswork to identify him as a victim of mob-shaming, when its not him personally being shamed. Its his actions that are being blasted online, and his direct words, which many women relate to, and most men don't even realize is a thing. There are a lot of poster children for mob-behavior, this bloke isn't one of them. Its a weird stand to make, entire history of the events in mind.
I mean, you posted facetiously that this pile up has a desired outcome of suicide.. That is a very very long stretch. And it definitely requires some fun mental games to get there.
I think everyone, well, I. Understand the Universal point about mob-mentality, and net-shaming. In this specific instance, it doesn't trump the level of constant harassment women get from guys like this. Not at all. He is harassing her, and others. Not some 14 year old secretly recorded having sex.
Huh? The drug user needs help too. But that is where the story ends with the internet. There is no social media involvement. We didn't have GAF users digging out his accounts and linking to streams.

@benschoen Sustained contact and repeated attempts to talk at someone who doesn't want to reply is harassment.
