I just realized that. Now I feel like I'm hallucinating.
Brooke isn't going to die. She was in the promo for the next 3 episodes, and she was at a pool party.
I doubt the last few minutes will be of a pool party out of nowhere, so she's living tonight. I'm glad too, she's one of my favorite characters!

At the very least, they will get Branson on sleeping with his students. This guy has to have some motives going on.

Piper is a LOCK for the killer now. She's Emma's sister. Which means there's still another Ghostface to be found here. I'm thinking Noah. I'm guessing that Season 1 will all be about Brandon James's kid...and Season 2 will be about who truly killed all those kids back then.
Another pattern I just realized that squares with Piper/Noah- look at how these people are dying

Jake- knife stuck in ribs- didn't work
Will- bootleg Jigsaw trap
It totally fits with the lack of upper body strength with that pair- most of the kills are soft spots, and the one time they tried for an "armored" one it didn't work.

yeah my money is on Piper/Noah. Only other combo is maybe Piper/Kieran. Kieran only because he has a habit of turning up at the right time conveniently.
Noah's been doing way too much hinting and blame dodging for it not to be him and Piper though. Smart money definitely on them.

I'm loving the consistency with the characters and the story lines, everything seems to be very well planned by the writers. The mayor and dead junkie plot seems plausible as they set up the mom's addiction and rehab very early on. Also love the realism with Emma's PC when she was chatting with Audrey (auto correct popped up for a second as it should) and the mouse tracking through the video looked real enough. I love little details like that.
My new guess for killers/ending is that one of the killers is the reporter (probably Emma's sister) and that Seth Branson was blackmailed into helping with the malware by the killer(s) because of his past that the killer(s) somehow found out about but he doesn't hurt anybody himself. Also Emma's dad if he really does show up will probably just be framed for it like the ending of Scream 1. Noah being the second killer seems very plausible.

That was a very satisfying episode. Still so many pieces on the tables, but we're at least getting clear answers now.
Brooke gets to stay with the Fitzgeralds after her father is taken out of the equation. She loses her boyfriend as well with this episode. It seems like a good set-up by Jake if he is the killer. I'm also glad Brooke is still alive.

I don't buy a Noah & Audrey killer duo. They have a lot of scenes together where nobody else is around. So why would they be talking about investigating the murders if they were alone if it were just for show. I could see one of them, but not both.
Piper is still #1 on my list. She obviously has help, not sure who the second person is. Piper has basically interjected herself into the perfect position, from the killer's perspective. Nobody would suspect her because she publically came to town after the killings started. Her reporting gives her access to the police and the victims.

Well I'm hoping that Noah isnt the killer. I love my little geek. Tho if he Is the killer then damn he has been working hard.

I will agree with everyone who's saying that Branson was framed.
I can't see Emma, Noah or Audrey being the killers.

I hope that there is some tie-in to the movies, like a character from the movies at least mentioned. At the end of the season they could think it is all over and be like "this almost topped the Woodsboro murders" or Emma could be reading a copy of Sidney's book from Scream 4 or maybe the killer reads it and that is where he/she got his/her inspiration.
Piper/Noah is a lock for me, they lack strength and that's why Ghostface isn't as violent as the movie, using technologies and fear to get the kills. Piper is probably Emma's sister and Noah is the "brain" ( Hacking stuff/execution ), he's clearly a fanboy of serial killers and he knew about Brandon James story since the beginning of the show.
It's Piper and the Sheriff. The Sheriff is way too interested in their lives, he's been trying to track down Emma's father as far back as like the 2nd episode, probably not as a suspect, but for revenge.
Piper is Brandon's daughter, Sheriff is his brother. There's no way the older brother that loved him nor all the facial surgery stuff doesn't pay off.
I bet the season only ends with one reveal though, probably Piper given they so directly addressed the child of Brandon stuff this episode.

Wow, with the decapitated first guy and Will's corpse, Scream the TV series with its TV-!4 rating seems to have surpassed Scream the movie series in the gore factor.
Audrey: I'm still locking her in as one of the killers for sure. Audrey with pointing out that fucking air vent which just happens to have the killer's knife and cellphone was just another weird Audrey thing I've noticed each week.
Branson: I've long suspected Branson. I don't know what kind of red herring he's supposed to be. Remember, Scream 1 had Sydney's long-suspected boyfriend turn out to be one of the actual killers.
Jake: he's moved to third position in my suspect list since last week. Last week it was getting stabbed off-screen and this week it's Noah pointing out that it's a miracle that nothing major was done against his body.
Kieran: I have no idea what to make of him. Apart from being a fun homage to Scream 1's Billy Loomis, he's too low-key right now to be a fun suspect.
Piper: I can definitely see the possible Brandon James connection. We'll see. She's never pinged to me as a killer but more of a future adult kill.

I still think it's Audrey/Noah. It'll make all those dialogues between them as double entendre to us viewers.
The season will end with both or one of them getting caught and then later turns out one of the murders weren't their doing, setting up Piper as the big bad for season 2.
Obvious red herring; Kieran, the Teacher and Jake. Brooks being the killer would be the worse twist ever though, so I hope that won't happen.
