Anyway, great to hear they're patching this. I was holding off until they did so.
Goodwill destroyed once they reveal FF7 Remake is now a cover-based TPS.
Where is this "2.9" thing coming from?

Don't see the demand for implementing such a thing. Its not free money if the amount of people who would bother to buy it at this point is less than resynching the voice files to the entire game.

Basically the RNG would stay the same when you started up the game from a save. So you would only see it if you were reloading the same save constantly. Which you normally would never do.
From what I've read, it seems a lot of people didn't actually understand how it affected the game, so people just saw 'RNG Bug!' and overreacted. There are two main instances I can think of where you would actually be affected by it:
1) Getting a No-Encounter weapon from Geosgeano
2) Trying to get a particular piece of equipment from a Dark Aeon if you're doing some kind of No Sphere Grid run.
Still, good that they're patching it.
Does it have English subs/menus? Doesn't seem to indicate that on the store page, and it'd be useless to me without them.

Yep. The cross save system is made by square not Sony so it works

Good on them, and I figured it was only a matter of time. They probably could have ignored this and not been negatively affected at all, but they're going the extra mile and making things right. I can respect that, and Square's been very good about this recently.
Lol such a waste of a good fight to do it that way. I know all about Zanmato but that shit is banned in my games. Takes all the enjoyment out of the fight and makes it feel like a waste of time covering the sphere grid and filling all the empty nodes required for the sphere grid trophy.

Yeah, I bought the steelbook version. That's XIII-2, Lightning Returns, Type-0 and now this in steelbook. I may have a weakness for these.
I gave it a quick go, it's really weird how uncompressed everything is compared to the Vita, particularly after playing some of X on the PSTV. I might not play it properly for a while. I'll wait for the patch and maybe start a new game, but when it comes to a lot of the post game stuff I'm better off doing the grinding on the Vita while doing something else.

PS3? Yeah...that's not gonna happen.
That doesn't work on Dark Yojimbo though. You have to at least kill him legit in order to unlock Penance
