I have the PS Plus version but stopped playing it because I never lost faith that this was going to be ported to PC. The slow frame rate kept me away.

Dear fellow Arisens -

Tons of folks asked whether the upcoming PC port will have a capped frame rate. With DDDA being an MT Framework-based game, you can rest assured it'll have the usual graphics options found in other Capcom PC titles.

Stay tuned as we'll have more details to share regarding tech specs and features in the coming weeks/months.

They're masterworks all, you can't go wrong!

I'm slightly confused as to what comes with dark arisen, is it just the expansion that came out for dragons dogma, or is the full game bundles as well?

If it's listed for Windows will there be a disc version?
And if there is a disc version will it have the full game on disc (so I don't need to download it) or just a Steam client downloader?

Will it still have the Guts/Griffith equipment? I shamelessly made my character Guts and would like to do so again. :p

There is literally no reason why they wouldn't still be there. They weren't DLC of any kind. Just available from that one certain merchant only. Not easily missable or anything, but you do need to clear out the mines first.

Amazing news, thank you!

Hmm, I wonder if this is worth building a gaming PC from scratch in order to buy this game a third time... I mean, probably not, but maybe, juuust maybe...

Great news. Don't even have a PC that can play it but still happy its coming nonetheless. I feel like this game has the potential to be very popular on PC

WE DO IT!

I had abandoned all hope. So happy to play this game
hopefully
without the technical issues it had on consoles. Yes!

Sweet.
If you guys port this well then it should get a huge following on pc over time.
This game deserved wayyyyy more credit than it originally got, it got a pretty sizeable cult following over the years through word of mouth at least.

In a fair world the dragon's dogma IP would be way more famous than skyrim.

One request for the pc port:
Please enable us to hotkey periapts. That was the one thing that I wanted improved in dragon's dogma. Having to go into the menu screens every time you wanted to use one was really tedious (which meant I didn't use them at all except on the final boss in bitterblack)

lol:p

Whoa, I never expected this would ever release on PC! I gave up on it on console due to the horrible performance. I can't wait to actually crack into it on PC. From all that I played it is incredible.

It's way to early for anyone here to answer those questions, especially the second one.

Already played it. Don't really need it again.

Hopefully they can also balance out the classes, Warrior was a bit crap, The assassin was still OP.
I hope they can pack in more monsters too

LET THE MODING BEGGIN!

I expect a mod that enhances the dialogue (shuts up) the pawns in a week.
And one that allows you to bang them in a month.

The strider classes were by far the most fun classes to play as. Warrior had some of the sweetest looking gear/weapons but wasn't as fun to play as, or as effective.

When this game came out I didn't pay much attention. When I heard a lot of people liked this game I was mildly interested. When I got it for free on PS+ I installed it and did nothing otherwise.

These things all happened so I could catch this game for <$10 in the Christmas 2016 Steam sale, or failing that, <$10 later that year. #blessed

Look forward to hearing it performs well and all though.

A post subconsciously conflating the technical short comings of a specific game easily attributed to either console platform with the idea that that sentiment is inherently tied to the idea of consoles themselves.
