For people who were wanting to get it, bestbuy.com has the Xbone Band in a Box bundles available again, so you can use that GCU and get 20% off.
I went through the checkout process and stopped at the very end. I was so hyped for this and waiting for Best Buy to put up more or get another allotment in because I wanted to order it so badly. Now that it is live again and there is no preorder DLC anymore, I feel like I'll just wait until Black Friday or shortly after for a big sale or even price drop. It's my fault for sleeping on pre-ordering it right when it went up I guess, but I didn't realize that quantities were going to be so low. If I order it now, I get less than people who ordered it earlier. Might as well wait a couple weeks and pay less as well. I chose the slowest shipping on my adapter from Amazon to get an MP3 credit so it won't even get shipped until next week anyway.

Damnit, I preordered the XB1 BIAB from my local best buy and I went to pick it up and of course it wasn't there. They only got 2 shipped in for preorders instead of 3 and the other 2 were already picked up so I was out of luck. They didn't get any others in to even put on the shelf so now they have to ship it and hopefully it arrives by thursday. Hope I still get the pre-order dlc.

you will....don't worry just hold onto that best buy order number. There forum support is actually fantastic in service. Just message them now and ask them if they can send you the code now so you are not waiting. I'll get the guys name here that helped me out with my Black Ops 3 key. Just explain to him whats going on and give him your BB order number..............

Can you not play this offline? It's installed, I click on it, it tells me it can't find any data because the Xbox isn't connected to the internet, I say "go offline" then it goes back to the home screen after a few seconds.
Guess I'll download this 2GB Xbox update first...

ooohhh nnnoooooo you got the NXE update!!!!
yes it is.....however you can use a controller to sign in other instruments and then sign out the vox.....its my work around for now.
NXE doesn't allow instruments yet to be used on the dash/OS level....but the game still works fine

So does this use the same dongles that the last gen version used to connect the wireless instruments? I can't find mine for shit and was just thinking of buying a new bundle - but then I'd still be short a guitar. Dongles by themselves also seem costly on eBay.

Hilariously I was able to get into a song and play through half of it before it starting registering up on the strum bar constantly causing me to fail it. Guess it's going back to best buy for now, maybe they'll have more in later this week *shrug*
Yeah, sounds like you got a bad board in there. Sucks. I had an Xplorer that would buffer every downstrum until you hit the guide button and then would input all the downstrums at once.
ok! 220 songs downloaded with 50 more in queue, some glitched out, and a lot are just unobtainable currently. I should be good for a bit. I love the wishlist feature too.. probably added another 50-60 songs just browsing to find ones I already own. blargh! hmx should have some kind of spotify type subscription service - isnt this what GHLive is doing?

update on my quest to get an export code for rock band 2:
finally got a person that was willing to help from EA support, but in order to get a code i need to supply a picture of my game disc, along with a receipt or small paper showing my signature, date, and EA support case number
is this weird? anyone else have to do this? unfortunately I can't access any of this here at work

Just depends on who you talk to, it's a fairly legitimate way to prove you own the game though. They don't wanna be giving codes away for free..

Yup, a perfectly reasonable response. I doubt they have an unlimited supply of these codes, so procedures like these should be done.

After talking to customer service for a while they did find an extra ps4 box which they've set aside for me when I go to return it. Fingers crossed!

Anyone having issues with having completely silent freestyle solos? I've only had it happen with two songs, one of which was on disc.

I'm reading through the manual online and it mentions "Endless Solo Mode," a feature where you can guitar solo over an entire song.
I would like to see that mode of play for Drums and Pro Drums as well.

Is there really no headset jack on the guitar? My monitor speakers are not great so I was relying on using my Xbox One Stereo headset. I am hoping I stupidly missed it but somehow I doubt it...sigh.

I asked earlier but nobody replied, but does the kick pedal detection seem really low? As in you have to step pretty hard for it to detect the step? Has anybody noticed any significant changes in hit detection after upgrading the firmware? I know drum pad hit detection is improved, but I'm hoping the pedal is improved as well. Cause if not I think mine might be broken. Or I suck lol

pedal on mine didn't seem to good. brought out the good ol destroyer pedal and it works a treat,
downloading all my songs using the in game store atm.....fast as hell compared to the crap people went through lol
sorry I haven't had a chance.....I plan on using drums immediately after done downloading

Got discontinued a long time ago. Only people who obtained it back when it was licensed and on the store will be able to eventually re-download it.

I had no idea Best Buy's policy on preorders is first come, first served. I went to pick up my guitar bundle before work and after a while a guy came from the back with it and it had a different name taped to it. He said, "they undershipped these, but you're here, so here ya go." I ordered mine last night, so I felt some guilt, but you can bet your ass I took it.
I don't see the blitz songs showing up either despite the fact I know they were playable on my 360

madcatz says they are going to overnight me a copy of the game, just one more day lol. here is a highlight from my stream of me finding out there was no game.
Wow Paul, sorry man lol but at least they are overnighting it for you. But rock band cache is running while I'm in the bathroom. sadly I have to go through Another list of downloads. Because the first set was on my old gamertag now I have to check through the new one. I noticed that newer purchases though actually registered compared to my really old ones.....so it should make it easier to find.
However my new gamertag includes almost all of queen, ten and ffuuuccckkkk more downloading lol
Whatever 300 songs in easy fashion due to the new store
Also the song previews load insanely quick compared to RB3.....it's actually really, really sleek and nice store
