I was wondering about Arcana Heart 3, not sure should I wishlist it or not. Is it worth for story mode and how hard is to finish it? Should I know combos deeply for that? I don't see myself doing anything else with it.

As an Arcana noob, I was getting my ass handed to me by the penultimate fight with 0-2 and 1-2 results on normal difficulty. So I lowered the difficulty to the minimum and completed story mode easily... getting the bad end because I didn't do the last fight the right way.
So completing story mode is easy even if you don't have a deep knowledge of the game (you just lower the difficulty), though the game is fun and you might want to start to learn stuff playing it. I'm liking playing with Weiss.

What game is it? It might only be activation locked, in which case just use a VPN and activate it.

no run restrictions, I just don't use VPN.

Thanks, I'm low on patience these days, but who knows

I feel like I should be playing all these meaty RPG's in my backlog but I'm constantly distracted by my bevy of multiplayer shooters.

I see Jawmuncher is finally acknowledging Dino Crisis as the dead, putrefied franchise it has become.

Can't remember have I posted it or no, Muv-Luv (both), Wheels of Aurelia (I would have lost that bet totally, HB is still a power) and Reset were greenlit a week ago or so.

Bought Rock Band 4 back in the box for 217 dollars and the guitar is broken. Harmonix pls.

In steam related avenues: Is the only place to get Transformers in the near future going to be full price on steam?

When's Microsoft gonna release Build 10532 for public use? I find myself playing less games with a controller because I don't want to go through the fixes to get my DS4 to work, easy enough as they are. It's been over a month since it was put up as an insider build, figured it would've come out by now.

Haven't seen Dante81 (Miguel81) recently. Hasn't played at all for the past two weeks.

And with that, I've finished all my goals for Spelunky. Beat Olmec, had a Ironman run, unlocked all shortcuts, tried out all items.
The achievement of getting the shortcuts and beating Olmec are seriously on par with the sensation of beating O&S for the first time. Adrenaline-rush.

Can't say I finished the game as it can go as long as you'd want it to but as far as it goes for me, I finished it.
Will play probably from time to time but I'll be on the lookout for other stuff. Rogue Legacy looks similar enough for a smooth transition but still unique on itself.

brad muir's leaving double fine

sad to hear, never felt his games were quite as rounded up as i'd like them to be but he was a lovable guy and we won't be seeing that much from him in any place that isn't as exposed as double fine is

I feel like just about every Doublefine game would be way better received if given an extra ~3 months of just testing/clean up.

i don't think massive chalice felt rushed, just that not all of its ideas were solid and that some systems needed fleshing out more, so i dunno, maybe

i think it's a pretty good game, among the best double fine has made, but it could use an expansion and a few balance patches, but since i figure it didn't sell very well that's not really gonna happen

It's a Sonic game. What else would you have heard?

That's a gross generalization, there are good Sonic games, and one thing LW is gonna benefit from a PC release is for fans to mod it.
Sonic Generations got some really good mods, so I'm interested to see they can do with LW.

In the end though it comes down to the platformer style one prefers, the Sonic series have various game styles over the decades, some people just need to accept it's not for them :/

The best Sonic game is already on Steam so get Freedom Planet.

True dat XP

Been trying to tell people that for years. Sonic is about speed more than strict platforming, which is a huge turnoff for people and they call it bad. Others didn't like it when it went to 3D, which is a valid complaint as well.

Also what Nine said. Freedom Planet is a joy.
