Shit, if this is that good coming so soon, Blood and Wine could be like a new game altogether.
Already this monday. Great! Can anyone tell me when this and the other expansion are supposed to be set? During the Witcher 3 story, after, before... I've been out of the loop.

Is that gamespot review safe from spoilers?
I'm sorry to shit up the thread with this stupid question, but I was honestly wondering and I can't find it. Does anyone here know where I would find a shirt like Geralt's wearing on the cover of Hearts of Stone? My wife really wants me to get a shirt like that and my google skills aren't serving me.....
It's the plain white shirt that can be bought from merchants (blacksmiths/armorers). I've been using it for quite a while in variations.
I don't know about where you live, but in my area blacksmiths and armorers are not easy to find. It's the plain white shirt that can be bought from merchants (blacksmiths/armorers). You normally use it to craft the base armor. I've been wearing it for quite a while in variations.
Oh sorry, I mean in real life. Thanks though

People are allowed to not like things. Get over it.It's pissing me off, honestly.
Skellige and the last hours are the peak of the game.

Can't think of many shirts with a similar frontal design and collar. Does look nice.
aye
You can play it during the main story provided you got to level 30.Will it make sense to play this post game, story wise?
I haven't beaten the main game yet, but feel like this would interupt the flow of the game if done during...?
That's a nice hefty spoiler in the Gamespot review isn't it?
"I really enjoyed this so I'm going to ensure it's impossible for you to enjoy it in the same way."
You need to be level 30 to start it.

10+ hours depending on how much side content you want to do.Any reviews mentioning the expansion length?
How long is it?
It has better gameplay than The Witcher. But I'll save that for the GotY thread.
Sure, sure, but we don't need any more Witcher 3 vs MGS V arguments round this thread, Alright?Everything has better gameplay than The Witcher.

Not Assassin's Creed Unity...
Not Fallout ...
Not Skyrim ...

I'm gonna give this game a second chance once the game of the year edition comes out. Glad to see the expansions seem to be on the right track.

I would say not really.

Agreed, was curious about how the gaming press was going to judge the expansion..they let me down as far as the vanilla game. I cared little about the lore though I appreciated the creature designs, the battle mechanics were janky crap and forced you into one play style. To me it was the typical eurojank rpg with more money and polish than usual and an open world in a time where those are as common as FPS games. You must have quite low standards for game play. Good game, but incredibly flawed.

I loved the narrative of this game but by the end of it all that was keeping me going was the story. Combat was a chore and the side quests didn't feel rewarding.
Not sure if I'll pick this up or not -- I have a tough time getting back into games via DLC.
