I suppose, but there is circumstantial evidence for a pattern. It is only a hypothesis, but its stronger than claiming everything is coincidence.

Just seems like the kind of thing that would come out; I suppose a development team could be given tasks in a way that only the project manager knows the conspiracy but there's a lot of PlayStation gamers in the game dev community who would gladly leak something like that if true.

Punished Derrick - A Fallen Legend

I actually miss him. His opinions were very different, but unique.

I'll just play the game anyway. Like everyone said fallout and Skyrim on the PS3 were 'unplayable messes' but I didn't notice any major glitches, any significant framerate drops, or anything terrible in fact.

if you guys don't want to have bad FPS, just don't go inside buildings.

like, what's the big deal? Nobody is forcing you to go inside, stop being so entitled.

Here's an hour of HD gameplay footage from the PS4 version...not linking this in case Bethesda ninjas are watching. Quote to reveal.

Looks solid to me.

edit: not seeing any hitching like the OPs vids so far.

On a serious note, it's rather disappointing that Bethesda couldn't manage stable performance with the visual fidelity that they are aiming for. That aside, I've been seeing people tweet screenshots and videos of the bugs in this game. I've only played some Skyrim, but it boggles my mind how people are willing to bend over and accept a troubled product. The defense force in here is a bit embarrassing. It's your damn $60; have some respect for yourself and your money.

You should see what else I pay $60 to have done to me.

So I made a video of the loading times in->out and out->in

Last video for today.

Fast traveling can take up to one minute.
Okay, I can deal with occasional framerate drops (I played Dark Souls on the PS3 at launch after all), but those are terrible... Even worse than Bloodborne's pre-patch loading times, since you're changing area quite often too.

So glad I didn't pre-order. I only played FO3 and NV recently, I can wait 5 years to play a patched and modded FO4 on some decent PC down the line, I think. xD

It's sad that so few games come out without massive technical shortcomings.

There really needs to be something seriously done about it.

i KNEW Bettesda would betray PS4 fans, just like always. i noticed in some streams very bad antialiaising and framerate when others said its fine, but i knew it.. i just knew Bettesda would betray us. they always do, end of story. do not trust them.

we PS4 fans should support real devs like those who made The Order 1888 and Driveclup, absolutely beautiful games only possible on PS4. Fallout is laughable if you compare any jpg of gif you can find. this game should cost 8 dollars on PSN because thats how cheaply made it looks (to real gamers at least)

like i said i knew it but people wouldnt believe

You really had me up until the bolded, credit where it's due.

What do you mean? We have to install games now before we can play it? Talking about the console versions. That wouldn't make sense, why buy the game on a disc if we have to install them anyways.

All PS4 and XB1 games install the full game to the HDD. Every game.

Works much better that way.

y'all should be ashamed
Anyways, if that hour of gameplay footage only has less than a minute of jank, then we're in for the best performing Bethesda game on consoles yet. Bring on Tuesday!

It just seems strange. Watched almost all of that 2 hour PS4 video posted yesterday. Everything seemed fine...

Not saying I'm shocked or surprised, or I don't believe everyone else saying it can run badly.. just seems strange I hardly noticed anything in the video the other day. Maybe it's mostly a problem with volumetric lighting? The couple of vids posted had quite a bit of it

Regardless this is inexcusable... I mean not once did the whole 'oh the games ran like shit on ps3 so I shouldn't get my hopes up for PS4' cross my mind. Different consoles, different times. Companies learn from mistakes (sometimes) With a console as powerful as the PS4 and how average this game looks in general, it's not really a stretch to expect a solid 30 at all. What a joke. To think I was ready to plop down nearly $90(cad) for this.

So really it could just be an isolated area or bug.
