Please, it's 2015 and it's Electronic Arts and it's Star Wars. They're giving this game the proper HD treatment with 1080p and anti-aliasing. Here's a screen they just released of the title screen on the PS4:
you can also make the game 120fps by turning on Samsung TruFloMotion on your tv

I'd play it for ten minutes until I remember why I stopped playing it on the SNES. That being because it is fucking impossible.

I remember asking for the star wars game for my NES at christmas one year in the 90's and Santa brought me Super Star Wars and a SNES, it was amazing.

The original Super Star Wars is far from impossible. It's Empire that is cheap and crappy.
There's one particular boss in the original (Super Star Wars) that's bullshit, the rest of the game is totally fair.

Just heard about this. I would pay up to $9.99 for this. Hoping for the other two games as well.
This game hasn't aged too well but I'll always have a soft spot for it as it's what got me into SW to begin with. The movies seemed dumb to me then I saw screenshots of the amazing graphics in Nintendo Power and had to play it. Turns out SW is pretty cool.
Seems like there was less done to this than I had hoped though, that's a bummer.

Very thankful I have all three (and Factor 5's Indy game) on my Wii U. I think these were delisted from Wii VC but maybe not?
Will still probably get this port out of genuine curiosity and Vita support. Will DEFINITELY rebuy Bounty Hunter if it gets Vita support.

Mapping the SNES cheats to Playstation buttons doesn't work in this port. Besides, X starts the game, not options. Game looks amazing otherwise.

If I purchase this on my Vita, could I sign in to my roommate's PS4 and play it? Then would I be able to download it on my own PS4 and play it? I do not own a PS4 yet, but I may pick one up during Black Friday. Sorry if this is a stupid question, I am primarily a Xbox player now.
Still not up on the EU store.
I'm hoping it comes on the 19th, like Battlefront...
