Here's my recipe for the perfect chip butty:

1. Take the ketchup out of the fridge and smother the chips.
2. Take the salt out of the fridge and make a pile to the side.
3. Take the vinegar out of the fridge and make a puddle to the side.
4. Take the bread out of the fridge.
5. Take the butter out of the cupboard and butter the bread.
6. Microwave a cup of tea while waiting for the ketchup to saturate the chips.
7. Take the chips in your bare hands, one at a time, and place on the bread, using the piles of salt and vinegar to control how much goes on each chip.
8. Close the sandwich with the other slice of bread, butter side out.
9. Enjoy while drinking your tea with the bag left in.
10. Wipe standing up

In the Indonesian McD they give you ABC hotsauce with your fries. Pretty nice too.

On the other hand I know a guy who puts his ketchup on a napkin to be used as a dip...always grosses me out.

The ketchup cap gets closed, and the bottle thrown in the bin, but not before whoever offered it gets a slap. Your options are Mustard or mayo. Choose wisely.
