I think I agree. My intiuition tells me that consoles are mostly things that all family members have access to and Sony doesn't want moms freaking out, which would happen if XXX appeared as a category in the store.

A sanitized, family friendly vr system is about as appealing as a family safe PC to me personally. And while I'm not a voracious consumer porn, I do like having it available. Besides felling good, regular ejaculation has been shown to increase mood, lower prostate cancer risk, stave off impotence as we age, and boost the immune system. Porn makes that easier and quicker than fantasies when sex isn't feasible.

So, I'm left wondering if psvr is going to feel incomplete.

I know YouTube have some 360 video you could play with gyro enable device, most 3D tv can play side by side 3D video format.
If PSVR support what ever format VR video is, then we got porn VR.

The only WebVR API out there is from Mozilla.

- It is not a W3C standard.
- It is in a highly experimental state.
- It is only supported in preview state by Chrome and Firefox nightlies.
- There is almost 0 content out there compatible.

I fully expect them to have an all purpose VR media player that supports standard video in a virtual cinema and 360 video files. If they don't they'll get harassed until they add it. So porn is a given I'd say. What they won't have is those XXX digital waifu programs. In that area I expect stuff that makes Summer Lessons look downright prudish by comparison, if you're into that sort of thing. That's not really my bag. The porn is very interesting though. I think everyone (of age) should try it just to see what it does to their brains. Properly done it is trippy!

It is NOTHING like watching Netflix on a floating screen. Properly done its usually 180 degree video but the 3D and the fact that the scene is usually POV and taking up you FOV just sells it. If you don't like porn in general this probably won't sway you but if you occasionally watch porn this is a game changer.

It is so so easy. Just put a password system in place if you don't want anyone in there. It's what people do for their PC's. But the concept if foreign on consoles for some reason.

It took a good while which is why I said they will maybe have to get harassed for it. They probably want to sell you VR video content as opposed to letting you just use your downloaded files so it indeed may take a while for that feature to be available.
