Been rewatching this recently. I really love the design for the mobile suits, my favourite is the Tallgeese, it's not the most powerful but I just love the way it looks.

Another vote for the Tallgeese models. Just very cool-looking and much sleeker than the Gundams.
From the Gundams, the first Deathscythe or Epyon.
In all honesty, I'm not a fan of most of the Gundam Wing mobile suits. I even prefer some of the suits from Gundam X (like the Double X).

Endless Waltz Alton/Nataku was and is amazing to me. Tallgeese 1 is probably my second favorite.

Definitely the best Gunpla model I own.

Altron, the most versatile Gundam in Wing.
Then comes Epyon.
They're the two best suits in Wing when it came to melee combat.

And then your only defense is a fucking pocket knife, my least favorite suit. Heavy Arms got bodied by Tallgeese in that fight, yes Heero was injured still, but I don't think he would've won regardless.

Tallgeese was awesome, no doubt. Finding out the tallgeese 2 was in it finally sold me on dad gundam reborn. I. Ant tthink of another mobile suit on gundam like it.
But heavy arms kai was always my favorite. Guns guns guns and guns, nut still almost plausible. Its I. Dwgr too, but surprisingly melee for a suit covered in missiles and guns.
The two big double gatlings on the custom are a little much though.

In the TV version, the Heavyarms Kai carries one Double Barrel Beam Gatling Gun mounted on its left arm, while in the Katoki version, this weapon is redesigned and handheld, with one on each hand. The Katoki version also lacks the shield featured on the TV version
It's an energy weapon. It doesn't run out of ammo (unless.plot convenient)
I always wondered where they were supposed to get more missiles though.

OK, so I'm not crazy for thinking they went way too overboard with D-Hell in EW. They went way too far to make it the evil doppelganger of WZC, so you've got blades coming out of places they don't need to be. The series version is way more clean looking.
Plus, the series had those cool looking ribcage vents.

I love how the EW design is basically the same thing, but black and with another beam gatling.

Between the Leo, Aries, Taurus and Virgo, Wing has the best grunt suits outside of UC by far. It isn't even a contest, no alternate setting even comes close.

Heavy Arms, easily.
Actually Heavy Arms has a lot of changes. Lines are completely different, extra gatlings in the chest, two more Gatling arms, and about 8 more missle locations.

Lost the army knife though, and the gatlings don't have the cool shield gimmick.
Yeah I prefer the original design because of the cool ass blade.
Naturally, this is the advantage of being a rather direct retelling of the UC storyline.

Fun thread, my favorite has always been Heavy Arms Kai. Loved Heavy Arms in the original series, but adored the Endless Waltz design. Look at this Badass:
