Vote for Vita - Poll of Games that could come to Vita in the future!

He emailed many, many, many publishers and asked their opinions. And he's already sending tweets towards Sony people like Corsi.

Didn't he actually meet Corsi in-person about this? I'd say it's safe to assume 3rd Party Productions is paying attention to this.

Love the Vita, but not actually interested in having any of these games on Vita. Huge fan of Seiken Densetsu/FFA, but Adventures of Mana looks like a pretty mediocre remake (really wish we could just get a localization/port of the more faithful mobile remake they did a while ago). Bought Freedom Planet on Steam but haven't gotten around to playing it. Not a Yakuza fan. And Gal Volt doesn't look too exciting.

This poll is the result; Sega, Inti-Creates, Galaxy Trail, and Square Enix decided to consider bringing a game or two to the Vita if this poll shows enough interest.

All I see is that there's a chance Saga Scarlet Grace will make it over if this is successful. I want it all yes but I'd kill bunnies in front of a school buss filled with kids for some Saga.

They're probably gonna consider more World of FF or Setsuna than this.

Liam is a Youtuber. He isn't working for the industry so I'm not sure what he meant when he said he talked to developers. Who did he talk to? Those who have power to make decision or just dudes that manage Twitter account?
He worked for Ubisoft Montréal and maybe other canadian branches, I don't remember.

Did the poll, honestly I'd love any or all of these games to come over, in particular the Mana game. I would probably buy all of them though, I tend to buy pretty much every vita release that is of good quality, regardless of genre.

The Yakuza Companion App is my personal red flag for this campaign. If Sega wont bring all those vita games, they are willing to bring a costly F2P with IAP?

Perhaps the company they're asking regarding the Yakuza game is the company who localised the corresponding PS4 game, not Sega :p

We could get even more. Square-enix porting Romancing SaGa 2 SNES to Vita this year for Japan, we might get it, if Adventures of Mana sells enough. Game has never been localized for west before.

Both are already coming to west. I have even preordered World of FF on Amazon.

Did my part and voted for Mana.

Tbh, I don't know how fruitful this can be. This is nothing than Vita fans crying for more games. Liam is a Youtuber. I love the Vita to death but I think this poll could be more impactful if Liam send it to Gio Corsi.

He used to work in the industry himself and the SBF have talked to and worked with multiple developers before like Yacht Club and Lab Zero.

I think it was Ubisoft and Square Enix Montreal

Freedom Planet was my 2014 GotY, and I'm still surprised it isn't on Sony systems or X1 yet.
This needs to be rectified.

There wasn't anywhere for me to beg for an XCOM 1 port. :-(

Excited about Yakuza 0 and Mana, and I put Ys VIII as my most anticipated announced title.

I think SaGa will come since it's exclusive, there's no PS4/mobile version they could opt to localize instead.

Uuh? What? I already ordered world of FF from their store. Nothing to consider about that.

Yeah the annoying part about that was that they had talked about "kickstarting" localization for niche products.. Honestly that's just an effing pre-order with minimum orders before it happens. Like ghostlight did with DS for DS ;)

Only really interested in the Yakuza companion app and Mana, but I voted yes on the others as well since i might end up getting them if they turn out good. That Yakuza app sounds awesome though, fully-featured battle system and Columns? Sign me up.

Voted for two of them! I'm curious, what are some of the big games that should be ported to Vita?

That was a really well made poll. I would have included some more questions for certain titles, but I think it gauges interest pretty well.

This is the most important one

I agree, I hope the results are overwhelmingly one sided.

I like it when these polls appeal to our niche tastes, like listing visual novel, and doesn't have nonsense like "Puzzle games (Uncharted)" and that kinda shit.

Anyway, Adventures of Mana would be rad. All of them would be.

Woo, go Liam. My Vita's left stick only responds to left and right movements for some reason, so will need to get a new one at some point or use my PS TV, but these games are all pretty interesting!

If he's reading this i hope next time he'll ask for Shin Kamaitachi no Yoru(Night of the true kamaitachi), for those unaware it's like Danganronpa.

After Duke Nukem 3d, Grim Fandango, Full Throttle and others i wouldn't be against other ports of old big pc games, especially of genres that are missing on vita like managerial/city builder(sim city and similar), hack & slash(diablo and similar), crpg(KOTOR, baldur's gate, might & magic 6, morrowind and so on), space games, rts... well i can go on and on, the choice is vast.

If SE is one of interested publishers maybe we could ask them to bring Chaos Rings collection they already have translations ready so digital only release should be small risk.

I believe that Baldur's Gate remasters were in his initial list. Developers had Vita devkits and were teasing a port on twitter but it seems things didn't go well.

If old PC ports are possibility, I want Quake 1+2. For years I wanted a portable Quake experience but even on mobile I didn't get one. Bethesda isn't a company that releases games across all platforms but I think it's worth to try.

Does the Yakuza 0 Companion app have new Monkey Ball levels? The example video I have seen only features two levels I already know from Monkey Ball Banana Splitz. Also, if it has new levels: Can I play it without owning Yakuza 0 and how much Yakuza gameplay to I have to suffer through to play the Monkey Ball goodness?

All of those look like great Vita titles! I want all of them. Didn't know they had ANOTHER No. 9 spinoff but it looks good. But Adventures of Mana...in my veins plz.
