Dragon Lance doesn't increase his stun range, aether lens does that.

But yes, Dragon Lance does increase his auto-attack range when in dragon form.

I've been mindlessly warding the rune spots at minute 0 that I never even bothered thinking about what the actual point of it is or that there could be a more useful alternative spot. I mean yes, the pull camp safelane I do at times but never midlane or just above the safelane towers. Warding the runes aren't as necessary since two runes spawn now but at the same time I still see value in spotting what the 2 min, 4 min and 6 min rune are in case the other team gets it.

yeah I know about this vid (haven't had time to watch past 5 min of it). It's not so much that I don't know about other ward spots...it's just that I've had it ingrained that rivers runes should be warded and never even thought to question it.
