Well that's fucking lame. I'd argue it with Steam support since they said any and all pre-orders are refundable.

Unless im mistaken that 2 hour thing is for released games, so betas should NOT count. At least EU should be pretty safe on this, NA is another issue.

Wonder if we'll have to restart the uplay client to start the PC beta? Or will the program just unlock? bout to find out I suppose.

Yeah, stressing that might work; the FAQ does say that the two conditions aren't exactly set in stone, after all. Just don't count on it.

They blocked new PSN preorders out as too many just preordered, bought the BETA and cancelled afterwards.

Damn, it looked like everything was good, game launches and I can only see a portion of the screen. I stop the app and when I try to relaunch it it's back to this game is not available message.

So I was down on the dark zone earlier, but after reaching level 8 (and being allowed to matchmake for DZ) it gets a lot better. There are significantly more enemies, much better and more frequent loot. You only play with other max level players too.

I'm very much enjoying the game. Excited for others to give it a whirl today.

Thought it started at 5AM EST so I woke up a bit early before work to try to and hop on :(

I wouldn't be surprised if Ubi neglected to tell Valve when to unlock the game... but even so, situations like this are exactly why Valve needs to let publishers change releases states themselves.
