Just starting to get into hats and I'm a bit oblivious about brands etc. A lot of the more popular brands seem to be about basketball teams etc but what about global brands?

Are there any designer brands or more expensive brands of hats?

Which company do you reckon makes the best snapback hats?

Gonna need more info on your look and what you are trying to pull off. You mention snapbacks. I know the dad hat style is really popular in LA right now. This is my favorite SnapBack I own. It's a skate brand using the LA Kings colors and older font. I have the blue one.

If you are trying to "swag" out http://www.mltd.com is a really big web store with a bunch of brands linked to it and they have coupons all the time. I would just browse around that site if you are new to snapbacks. I'm not really into snapbacks I own a few hats and will rock them until death. The cool thing about brands that put out limited clothing is you tend to never run into anyone with the same hats/clothes. Like I've never met anyone with that hat I own.

I'm going for a more kinda VIP look. Like the kinda hat you can wear at a club in Vegas where you've got a table etc. Hard to explain.

Tbh I'm surprised a more recognisable designer brand of hats isn't available / well known. Or maybe it is but I'm oblivious to it.

I myself really like CCM's snapbacks for hockey teams, generally I like how they have hats for defunct teams, even ones that get little exposure (Colorado Rockies, Kansas City Scouts) etc

Also, I know that some skate brands (Element is the only one that I can think of) have them as well:

Fashion always amuses me, as a kid snapbacks were basically all hats and you spent effort to make them look worn and bent rather than pristine and flat. Now manufacturers make most hats with better adjustable bands for sizing and have the billalready bent a bit and kids want the old shit. Just kind of funny to observe.

The led hat is just for raves and clubbing and for a bit of a laugh tbh. Spending 40 quid on it does feel silly now though.

Ah man I just bought a couple of Dope hats. There's a bit of a story about how someone took advantage of me and made me buy them on holiday abroad but I won't post that story here.

Thing is, I'm not from the States and don't follow US sports so I dunno if it makes sense wearing those. But some of the logos like the one you shared is wicked.

Also, you don't have to be into sports to wear team logos. You can associate them with stuff that's personal to you.

Snapback means the back has snaps, AKA adjustable. Fitted means it doesn't (they come in various measurements).
