Just for kicks and assuming that it's not Japanese at all, Google Translate says "niji" can mean:

Bosnian/Corsican/Serbian - Important
Chinese - Nicky
Greek - Allusion
Gujarati/Hindi/Urdu - Private
Igbo - Continued
Kannada - Manufactured eyeglasses (?!?!)
Malagasy/Xhosa - Fiji
Russian - Below
Yoruba - Nightmares

Take your pick!

Yes, it's genius. It's not like Nintendo had some sort of way to directly release information to the fanbase. Some sort of 'Nintendo direct', of you will.

A controlled leak is for die hards who don't need direct messaging, and theres no risk in confusing the masses or undermining the current platforms prematurely.

A retailer has listed Disney Art Academy today for 3DS, I do believe this was after I leaked this information last night. I actually knew about it since last Thursday but definitely thought the information on NX 2016 & Zelda NX 2016 took priority.

Just our of curiosity, was your 3DS leak for games with physical copies?

So was those retailer listings for Disney Art Academy legit?

Yes definitely.

Also the document I saw said nothing about types of releases, being eshop or physical retail.

*however if that retailer is listing a specific date, I cannot confirm that part since specific release dates were not given, just time frames. The time frame for Disney Art Academy is Spring 2016.

There's definitely still room to be skeptical but watch when the new Pokemon game isn't called Niji/Rainbow followed by people shitting on the guy because they didn't read what he said properly.

The thing with the Disney Art Academy listing is weird since it was found less than a day after he leaked it. Is there any way of knowing that the listing went up beforehand?

Now this is a good question! The timing of it all. Time for evidence gathering!

thefro found the Synnex listing that was last updated on 02/21/2016 at 10:47 PM PST. However, I don't know when it actually went up. I did look at the Google cache of the Synnex page and it was last updated by Google on 02/19/2016 at 8:49 GMT; the actual page itself lists this update took place on 02/18/2016 at 10:57 PM PST. This older, cached page includes Disney Art Academy as well. This is before Trev's leak, right?

I couldn't find a way to find out when Mac Mall added their page.

"Why Mario Kart 8 will be the lowest selling game in the series."

It still ended up being one of the lower performing titles of the series, so it's not hard to see that being a WiiU game handicapped it pretty badly. Particularly when you consider how massive the series became in the previous generation, but it's now back down to where it was during the Gamecube/GBA era.

Also I would like to share the picture as well.

Yveltal, Xerneas and Zygarde. All of this makes me remember of the days in which GAF would find characters in the clouds of some Super Smash Bros. Brawl trailer, hahaha.

Niji is Rainbow. And Zygarde's final form does have a rainbow like color in the chest (blue, light blue, white, orange, red). Or perhaps, Niji would go for a version in which you could get every starter pokemon and legendary pokemon (or something like that).

But it still outsold games with much higher install bases and has an insanely high attatch rate. MK8 sold pretty well all things considered. I think Zelda will do fine on Wii U. They just need a a decent marketing push to do so.

If that is true it makes sense. I found out everything I have been posting on 2/18, but you tell me, in order of importance Zelda NX vs Disney Art Academy? I didn't know anything about that retailer.

I also posted Mario & Sonic Rio 2016 as a summer release for Wii U on Saturday morning before it was just confirmed yesterday for June 2016.

I think it would too, but I'm really glad it will come out for NX as well. I hope they increase the resolution / add any additional graphical effects if possible.

Well yes, but going back to the original comment, it could very likely be the lowest selling Zelda if it were WiiU only. The series is not booming like Mario Kart was/is.

Hold it, hold everything folks, lets keep ourselves calm.

Trev's "leak" of that Disney Art Academy happened today, but Google Cached view of the Synnex page has it that the listing of Disney Art Academy was there as earlier as February 19th

I too wondered what could possibly be the samsung connection. Turns out it was their new SoC (custom ARMv8) and ue4 running on it:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lIdNoSB69PI

The S7 actually uses either the Exynos 8890 or the Snapdragon 820, depending on what region you're buying it in, so I'm not sure which the demo was running on. In any case, I'd imagine Samsung's role was integrating the API into the OS (as Google's not likely to bring native Vulkan support until Android N), and paying Epic to make a nice looking demo to showcase their new phone.

Slightly more on-topic, MWC has provided one useful piece of info to us: the first devices with 14LPP chips will be hitting store shelves in about a month, so that's the start of the "will 14nm be mature enough?" clock for the NX.

NX VR confirmed.

LOL! Most plausible explanation. VR Pokémon on the way!

It's still a bit early to start descending into madness, isn't it?

I think that's already happened. The question now is how far can one descend beyond madness?

Well, Dante lists the first circle as being limbo. I think we're definitely there. We're all on the way to lust now!

I'm on your side for sure still, just looking at all the available facts! I mean, I'm not in the business or in any position to understand these things, but I figure some sort of regular distribution of information takes place to a company like Synnex to keep them in the loop. This would probably fall to a marketing department. Again, this information probably goes out at a regular interval (a time or two a week?) with updated specifics, and your source may be tuned to that and in that channel along with many others.

Hold it, hold everything folks, lets keep ourselves calm.

If you look above, it's actually even earlier than that as Synnex updated the page on 2/18/2016.

Well 3ds support wasnt. ..
A new Pokemon game coming in the anniversary was pretty obvious.
The other 3 titles we know nothing about and Nintendo having 3 3DS titles in the works that we don't know about makes sense. They often reveal new titles to release them that same year.
Only new stuff is Disney art academy which isn't too exciting
Most were expecting a new Pokemon and most of those games except Disney Art Academy. Unless you mean the price drop.
Weird that the Wii U never got a price drop.
Just better bundles

And before this gets out of hand or the purposes unclear, I looked into the timing of the listing as proof that Trev/his source is correct, not that he was lying or made things up! We've got eagle-eyed people here that know a bunch of sources and outlets and Disney Art Academy information never came out. I know this isn't a megaton game or anything, but the IP is big enough, and people know about release dates and information way ahead of time for far more obscure sounding titles than one that's going to be marketed ten ways to Sunday with Disney involved.

Just the way these things work there HAS to be information going out from Nintendo to communicate these releases/dates and I believe this source to be in that chain. This doesn't "prove" Trev/his source is a liar or anything like that but adds proof to the validity of the information being put forth.

Oooooh! That's great news!

Thinking of costs yet again for fictional setups, what is the price difference for parts at 28nm vs. 14nm? Would it be prohibitively expensive, all other things being equal other than this?

Thanks. Hopefully Bishoptl will get back to me soon anyway, he has all proof he needs to verify.

Well, it depends on launch time (which is why I referenced a clock starting) and die size. Basically, for a small die SoC (i.e. for the handheld) it would likely be expensive, but not impossibly expensive, to launch at 14nm late this year. For a large-die SoC (i.e. for the home console) it would be extremely unlikely that a 14nm chip would be affordable this year, but would become plausible if the launch was mid-2017 or later.

good to see another art academy title. I'd like that series to be one that Nintendo brings to mobile - could be great on ipad with pencil support.

Nahhhh guys don't worry about me! :D I don't get offended by some anonymous user on the Internet but it was quite sad to be honest.

I only visit sales threads (mostly Media Create threads) and I like the community there (the ones that put numbers or well formed opinions). So I had the info and I hinted at the games asking what sales potential could have a direct Pokemon sequel on a system in its way out. It sounded crazy so I was pushed and in the end I said something along the lines "Pokemon Black and White 2 will be released for NDS :p" and got mocked more!!! hahaha (but all in good fun).

Anyway, some users were asking for bans and things like that so I thought "when this is confirmed I'm not giving anymore info" and so was it.

Is a pity because here on GAF there're several good posters who I'd love to read their opinions on things that I could say but now I'll keep it to myself and I'll read speculations until everything is confirmed :)

well

you do have a lost and found avatar lol.....ironic isn't it XD....
favorite mudvayne album

Hahaha ok, that was funny :D

Its like people are determined to out Trev as bogus. Its ridiculous.

I really do give Trev the benefit of the doubt on this one, but having followed the workings of various rumor mills for some time now...

It's pretty fair to look at a piece of information that appeared online before a "leak" was posted, but is the only new real information to corroborate said leak, as potentially being a nugget of "true" info splashed alongside a bunch of BS to make it look legit. That's how a lot of fake rumors start.
