Too be fair I had a new pad as well and it played great. It's just that they age super quick and super fast. The sticks lose all elasticity and will wiggle around without touching them.

We never need leaks in the first place. We buy the final product, leaks--fake or otherwise--are us having fun in knowing earlier than the rest of the people who don't actually care that much. I say let them come.

This guy is great. To take a joke one step farther.. and getting some people to really loose it and speculate. He got you guys for fools and that is that. I applaud these 2 guys for this.

In the end, the design was awful. Glad this is fake. Now to await what could be a worse design from Nintendo. :)

hahaha.. he even goes and talks on how uncomfortable the design is. Darn right it is. That is just not ergonomic. and your fingers covering part of the screen, or even the shape not being a traditional format was just weird.

Bravo guys!

People may be feeling insulted. But that's how I feel. The design is an ergonomic disaster and that should be obvious to anyone who has experience playing games.
To say it looks sexy or cool boggles my mind.

Between this and the Rayman leak, people are certainly getting creative with their Nintendo leaks.

You had people looking at google street view to find pictures of leafless winter trees and comparing branches.

This is GAF history in the making. I have been laughing out loud on multiple occations for the last hour.

If he posted a new thread stating it was a leak then I almost might agree with you. But didn't he just post it to Reddit or someone and it got linked to here, by someone else? At that point it's just an Internet rumour like any other.

If anything it shows how desperate people are for information on things and how relatively easy it is to fool people (including the gaming press)

I think it should be a reminder that people should be more skeptical on the internet. I don't think he expceted so many people to fall for it this hard. It makes a precedent for all denizens of this part of the internet to take things with a grain of salt a bit more concerning leaks . Some guys will need to rethink how confident they are in their reporting, maybe that will leave a bad taste in their mouths?
And maybe top level business man won't be that influenced by rumours and gossip,if they are maybe they need to calm down a little.

He is now up there with Kojima in fooling the entire gaming world. He also based his leak on a previous fake one so he just took the baton on an already confirmed fake.

Yeah so, it has been fakes all the way to the bottom, doesn't make it more likley that the true NX is gonna show up all of a sudden.

Fantastic work sir. Not only was the model itself really well built, but the timing of the release and the extra details was just a masterclass in messing with an audience.

Terrifying that we live in a world where this is both possible and widely reported on though.

I admit, I was with #teamreal so deserve the dunce hat. However, I am slightly relieved that this *isn't* the controller. I just can't see Nintendo wrapping their heads around the idea of a buttonless controller and a free form display that would actually cost more money than the Wii U gamepad that they were taking hits on. Just doesn't make sense to go that route.

Now, I *could* see Nintendo shrinking the Wii U gamepad and swapping out the innards of it to basically make it a handheld/controller hybrid. I wouldn't be surprised to see the NX controller also double as a phone.
