Yeah, the federov is what immediately came to mind. I know the Germans had some prototype stuff that never saw battle. They didn't really perfect that style of gun until the second world war. I'd even say that the ARs from WW1 would be closer to LMGs.

The Luger P08 and was being fiddled with at that time. They made it into a machine pistol towards the end of the war. I think the Mauser was modded to fire full auto, too. Guns like the Thompson were also developed during the war, but never saw combat.

I think what he is trying to say is that the USA was "involved" with WW2 since the beginning. Which it kind of was since it was sending supplies to the UK and such (I think).

edit: they started during June 1941 so yeah, it did took them a while to get started.

Yeah, I think you're right. I have a feeling this will be very well received as it's different among current settings. It's nothing new, sure, but we have not seen 'mainstream' developers tackle WW for a while and I think it will play out well for them.

Unrelated: what's your favorite halo? Mine is 3 :)

My hype level is so high for this game. So many shots from that trailer that sold me. I can't wait to fly those planes through all that scenery.

Can you enter a vehicle and exit on your own or or just spawned into a vehicle like in Battlefront?

In Battlefield you can enter vehicles on the battlefield by walking to them, especially since you have transport vehicules.

No offense, but you're being ridiculous. This is no worse than the constant portrayals of modern warfare, WW2 and Vietnam we've seen in countless videogames. I've seen your other comments, and it's as if you're looking for an excuse to be angry at this game's existence. Just chill out.

The chances of Mondragon rifles being in the game are really low.

I mean they can do whatever they want, but Mondragon rifles were not issued to any fighting nations in World War 1.

The only semi-automatic rifles that saw use was the Mauser Selbtslader rifles and the Fusil Automatique Modèle 1917 to my knowledge.

Pistols with stock attachments were a big thing in that war and they better have a ton of them. They worked great for trench clearing.

I just wonder how far they will go into suppressors. I mean they were used.

I don't really understand what you're so annoyed with. We don't know what the specific point in time this game takes place, so they very well could jump around.

Are you truly that bothered by black soldiers getting some form of prominence in this game? Their presence is not replacing nor belittling any white soldiers.....if that's what you're trying to get at.

Battlefront looked pretty close to the trailer. Of course, this trailer has a lot of post processing, DOF, animations and whatnot that probably won't be there during normal gameplay.

Calling it now. A campaign set piece will involve you boarding a zeppelin, fighting everyone on board, inadvertently piercing the balloon and then being on board while it crash lands.
