Gafia 2: The Bride of Gafia |Mafia OT| One Wedding, Many Funerals

Well, the people voting on Kalor were you and Roy and Weemad. I town-read both of you two, but I would maybe need re-consider that stance.

As for AFK people, they would fit both Salva-scum and Salva-town, since in both cases they would have been afk.

I don't doubt some scum were AFK, especially when a lot of the active players have something semi-clearing them. My issue is with narrowing down scum to just AFK players. It just seems way too unlikely for me that four arbitrary chosen people would be inactive at day end.

I'm also curious on your Roy read. If you have an old read post a range of page/post numbers.

I don't think scum targeted last night, I think their target was protected.

This reminds me, so launch got a ping last night again, right? What kind of role would target him? It seems useless for scum to try to incriminate him since his role is already used, but I also don't think a doctor would bother protecting him.

I think it's very possible we have some investigative role that looked at Launch last night. I know we have two motion detectors already (presumably) and our cop is dead, but we could still have some sort of tracker/watcher or a role cop or something that checked out Launch last night. There was that whole drink escapade before day end.

Yeah, but he mostly talked about launch, like we all did. Hardly something that sets him apart.

He pushed gryvan the most of anyone.

A lot of WIFOM, but I think a doctor is the least likely and a roleblocker the most likely. The doctor would have missed two quite obvious targets in Scrafty and Bronx.

Scum could have a strongman, though.

As for the roy read, I think I posted a read on him on Day 2. But that's pretty old read, and my goodwill for him has been lessened.

Unless the investigative role is really reliable, as the ones you mentioned, I feel it would be pointless to use him on launch. I honestly feel we don't have more investigative roles,

The best case scenario is a role that can see who visited its target. But honestly, if this was your role, would you use it on Launch? If he was town. I doubt scum would want to kill him since he already used his role and town suspects him.

If it was someone who could check if Launch visited someone else... that would be redundant, since we already have two motion trackers.

A name cop would be useless since we are all gafia players and choosing good guys and bad guys is arbitrary and in good fun. The only way it would work is if a player lied about their role name.

A role cop could work, but alongside Scrafty's role it would be extremely overpowered.

Now, a scum cop could also be useless unless they also want to know if he has a secondary ability, or if they believe launch is actually neutral, but even then they could do better targeting someone else.

A scum roleblocker would be pointless too.

A town roleblocker I can totally believe, but if that was the case then its even more damning, since no one died tonight.

Same for a jailor.

Nin, what's your opinion on BSP? I town read you, but you also always concentrate 100% on one person at a time. If that person would be town, it would mean "wasting" multiple days on said person. So I'd like to hear what you think of other players too.

I have almost a non read on her. At this stage she is the most inactive player around. But with the arsonist gone. I feel that she might be town. I am Unsure at this stage.

Also I am still waiting for your answer to this:

You said you responded, but even after going through D4 in full, I couldn't find it. I'll add to the question "Especially in the light of Weemad's and Kalor's voting patterns in D2 and the possibility that Kalor didn't know what PR roles Scum other scum have".

Well i know i defended salva on D1...i still would but i am having my doubts about him. Dont worry there are enough other fishes around that i would rather have lynched.

Why do you think BSP is town with the arsonist gone?

What are your doubts on Salva?

Don't hesitate, get those contributions to the game out.

just a thought nothing more. At this stage everything is possible and she might be one of the remaining mafia players. But if she was mafia , the other playrs would have complained to retro and she would have been replaced. Just a general feeling. BUT and here it comes. I would not hesitate to policy lynch her. She put down a list of potential candidates that seems suspicious in her POV. If we lynch her and she turns out to be Town, we should take a look at it.

What are your doubts on Salva?

There aren't any per se it is just a feelling. But i myself made some bold moves that screamed anti town. i dont know where is stand atm but i still want to clear what happened with you and Time. Thats why i voted him.

I didn't move last night. I also didn't got notified for anything for what it is worth.

For who I want to lynch today: Launch. I am always very suspect of people that have a long roll out of their role claim, and launch took like 4 days to fully claim. I can understand hiding some of those things for a bit (the table being random and him getting the drink) but he kept those things hidden for a long, long time and only revealed them when he got heat, not because he thought it was the best time to reveal. It doesn't feel good to me.

Camjo his flip actually increased my suspicion for launch. Looking at camjo's role, he pretty much told the truth about everything. So when he said I got targeted with a douse N1, I think he was speaking the truth, why would he speak the truth about everything but lie about that? So I got targeted N1, Launch "did" his power on table 2, and yet I was doused? And Xam still got his drink? Sure, one drink disappeared and went, very conveniently, to Launch as he claims, but that doesn't change the fact that if we believe camjo and Ourob, TWO powers ended up targeting the exact same person. That very unlikely to me.

Speak of the devil and he shall appear.

I laughed myself when I was done reading the thread and saw that was the last post like a minute ago :)

I just had a thought while driving (waited til I got home to post :p).

Why are the two motion detectors still alive?

Honestly, I think the motion detectors have been more a detriment to town then a benefit for now. The only thing it achieved was forcing people to claim they didn't move, which helps scum find pr. For actually scum hunting the results are limited usable, especially with them outed. Scum could easily try and misuse them for their own benefit.

Anyway, I wasn't joking about turboing oreo. We have mislynched once and last night there was no kill. Let's not give scum any info as to why, and remove a 3p.

I am saying town is currently at an information advantage and the correct course of action would be to turbo the neutral and let scum figure out how they fucked up.

Oh, ok.

Well, look, I wasn't ready to go after weemad. I just didn't see him as scum. We make bad calls sometimes, and I can assure you lynching me is one of those.

You said this a couple of hours before the lynch.
[...]
Meanwhile, I believe weemad is something to keep an eye on going forward. I'll see what's what with him next phase.

Why? What were your thoughts and why didn't they materialize into a vote?
I'd love to hear more into this. What, if anything, was your thought process regarding Wee?

When I looked for a mention of Salva by you I had to go really far back. 24 hours before day end to be exact:
[...]
SalvaPot - #2 on my top scum list. He called me out for blowing my load early and was just overall very critical.
[...]
It was a scum read as well, that matches your vote, but why didn't you push harder for a Salva lynch? After this post the only mention of Salva I could find by you was the vote.

Let's say scum knows one of Roy/Launch didn't move and the other is town or say that both are town. With Terra's claim they could have a decent guess of who blocked them.

Also regarding town being at the information advantage: Do you think the person stopping this NK has breadcrumbed whom they targeted?

Bolded: How?

As for the second part, perhaps I should say scum is at a disadvantage rather than town being at an advantage. Unless whoever stopped it wants to come forward, it doesn't matter. I waited for everyone to post, and no one did. Fair enough. Let them to their thing again tonight.

Yeah, I fear the motion detectors might be doing more harm than good, yeah. And about the breadcrumbing, I've read over the last few pages before the yesterday's end, I didn't see anything but who knows. They could have a hit a bulletproof or something, or a doc could've got lucky.

Why do you think a doc missed Scrafty and Bronx? Strongman like Burb suggested?

Alright you fucklechucks, yes I moved last night and yes my entire roleclaim has been a lie. It started off as a gambit that evolved into a survival tactic; scum thinks I'm the neutral because they know I didn't actually switch the tables or, later, their lost partner.

Any other questions before we move on to who I believe is a legit scummy player, Ty4on?
