Core gameplay is great obviously, but it's not too crazy to expect a realistic damage model or AI that isn't dumb as fuck. VR and possibly the online portion might make it more interesting than let's say a GT6 remaster on PS4.
Also 60fps
Only 140 cars and the tracks looks......Not what i expected... Looks like Polyphony lost their mojo on that department. Still Day 1, i love the driving physics of GT.
Apparently this topic triggers you, but I never said they tried to do the same thing, I said I don't see myself buying two racing games.
You've certainly demonstrated this.
If you want the crap looking GT6 cars, stick to GT6 buddy. PD doing the right thing with GT Sport, all cars have equal attention paid to them from the start. This seems to be a very focused game without bloat, feels like PD went back to their GT3 routes and it's the best game they've made.
No talk of weather though, fuck knows what's happening there but meh I'm buying this Day 1 no matter what.
eh, visually it didn't blew me away because its just car porn...like every GT game has been since 3.
maybe im just getting old
hehe, engine sounds masked by a music track.
yep
yep

Right now, though, it doesn't look to do much with that foundation - to an untrained eye (albeit one that's poured countless hours into Gran Turismo 6) it's hard to tell the difference
From Eurogamer:
Preview is a joke
Welp.. thats a shame if true.Or they made sacrifices for 60fps and day one VR?
I can't help but think that's why some of the graphical problems people are noticing in the screens are there. They can't go wild n out cause of VR.
Am I crazy, or is it just not as visually impressive as this series used to be?
Diminishing returns? Perhaps games like Driveclub and Forza are helping take some of the luster away, maybe? I'm not sure.
You really are this surprised at the mention of a racing game released in the proximity of another racing game by a person who intends to buy just one and thinks one doesn't look particularly impressive? Then what's the point in the comparison?
It's like me saying I won't drink any water today because I've already had some Coca Cola.
Are you assertions about the cost of vr coming from any point of authority or knowledge?I've been saying this forever now. Ever since Sony mentioned vr for gt I said it would be a major mistake. The amount of sacrifice that will be required to have the game run in both vr and regular efficiently will be significant.
This is damaging to the gt brand and raises questions about PD ability to the average gamer. Gt is known as a visual showcase for PlayStation and this will disappoint. It may be awesome for vr users such as myself, but for the average gamer this I'd going to disappoint and it appears on a visual level it already has.

From what I've heard or read from the other GT thread. Sounds are still same sounding in gt6. I hope they address the sounds.

Or they'd simply lower the detail when you play in VR. Why would they compromise the entire game?

Sorry if been answered but does it have VR support at launch?

Nothing and never stated I did, however as you'll find in my initial post my belief is that Turn 10 are now more reliable than PD so based on that my expectation is that even if it's as good as Horizon 2 it would be my purchase this year. What do you know about Forza Horizon 3 to be able to come to that conclusion then? Has it even been announced?
Is this going to take advantage of the PS4K's additional power?
Well, the trailer was at least showing ps4 footage, for sure. But I think it will, at least with a later patch. Especially as this is a vr title.
I believe Kaz said there will no longer be a beta.Any news about the Beta?
unless you buy a Neo?
