I think if you have friends whom you know will play the game with you, you should keep it. Otherwise, think of it as you having bought the amiibos and some nice amiibo cards (Stitches!).

I thought about getting it myself (with the sale from Amazon) but I already bought this game once (at release) and returned it after watching gameplay vids... I don't think I should buy it again even if it's at that price.

Hi there guys, haven't been on GAF in almost a year.

I'm in a bit of a pickle, I have an extra VIP ticket for the Hatsune Miku concert in Toronto tomorrow that I really need to unload, and I'm really not in the mood for playing scalper in front of the venue.

So yeah, PM me if interested. Current asking price would be $150 but I'm willing to bargain. The ticket will be transferred via ticketmaster.ca, have an account ready.

$79.99 on Amazon so it's pretty much guaranteed to be an error. Jump on it if you want to go digital. Even the 30% off E3 deals if they happen will probably cost more because of tax.

It was $13 last May (two months after release). So yeah, it flopped.

Still salty I wasn't able to get a MM pin for pre-ordering this (apparently they don't hold such items). And they lost my pre-order deposit too.

I'd totally be down for a full length animated feature. Art style is awesome. And if those shorts are any indication, it'd translate very well to the big screen.

oh yeah people talking about vanilla and cherry coke 500ml's being too expensive a while ago, wholesale club sells them for like $1.33 each or something I think. idk if that's their normal price or was a sale.

Just got my pc back after 8 days in repair. I've blown my second GTX 970 Asus Strix in 2 months. Now my local shop has replaced it with a Mini-ATX Gigabyte 970, which definitely isn't up there in my standards.

Apparently, the GTX 1080 releases tomorrow? Is it available for preorder yet?
I don't want to even ask for the MSRP.

Every model at launch right now is a founders edition which is 700US, converted to Canadian and it kinda makes sense

$999 is the rumoured pre-order price from Canada Computers. I haven't called them to ask myself so I have no confirmation on that at all. With how poorly things are priced here I tend to just blindly believe it though.

Got an email via Kijiji, from someone who's looking to buy the copy of Star Fox Zero I picked up and wasn't a big fan of. "I'll take it for $40 cash," he says. (What else would he pay me in?)

I said, "Nope," and replied with $55. I'd been asking $60. He told me to keep it, so I said okay and laughed about how he won't find a cheaper copy for quite some time. He thinks it's going to drop in price crazily because it's a Wii U game and I'll be lucky to get $25 for it soon.

How did you blow it? I've had mine for close to 2 years now (970 Strix). Only issue I had was a wire that would go close to the fan and make an awful sound so I pulled it away.

Feeling a lot better about picking up a used 970 Twin Frozr for $300 last month though I'm not sure why I keep getting this weird graphical glitch while scrolling on browsers :(

They ran every test they could at my local shop: I am actually the only client who blew up his GTX 970. And TWICE! The first one gave up after 16 months, it would downclock to half speed under load. They changed it under Asus Warranty and gave me a new one, which blew up exactly one month later, that's a week ago from now.

They haven't found anything, PSU and MOBO were rock solid but they still swapped my Asus B85 for a Z97-E for 70$. The only thing left in their minds is that I must have overclocked it, but I don't mess with any of this. I'm clueless but also a bit unlucky I believe. Let's just say I'm done with GTX970's, so if anybody wants a mini-atx GTX970 brand new from Gigabyte, send a PM!

Thanks for all your answers, 1000$ is certainly a lot of money in this economy...

While you can probably still unload it for $50+ if you find someone willing, the guy isn't too far off. I bet that game starts popping up for sale en mass in the coming weeks, whether because of quality or short length.
