Wonder what their big surprise announcement is going to he this year. Ubisoft loves ending the show with an out of nowhere game

It has to be Splinter Cell or Prince of Persia, right? While they said we wouldn't see anything Assassin's Creed related this year, I could see them ending on some 30 second teaser trailer for that rebooted/retooled AC planned for next fall.

Only would be a quick surprise CG teaser at end of show as they tend to do.

More likely not though as they probably let it stay dormant allowing the brand to rebuild appeal. Given they have a pretty big slate(and a WD2 reveal), an AC teaser may actually muddy that water and draw more attention away from what is important in the near-term.

I passed on watch dogs. Seemed like a bad version of a GTA game so maybe they are going to do a lot better this next time around

I imagine they want all eyes on the movie from now through December as far as the Assassin's Creed IP is concerned, and then we'll get a short cinematic teaser Q1 of next year for the 2017 title.

Wouldn't mind seeing something this year, though. I really liked Syndicate and I'm curious to see what they can pull off without the annual release schedule weighing on them.
