I see a lot of people liking the idea of a mic on the controller. That totally defeats the purpose of having a mic to begin with: to have voice navigation without powering on a controller.

Now, now. Don't make any Rash decisions that you're going to regret.

Yeah I don't like that either. There's a reason Amazon built Echo to be stationary.

I agree with someone else here who said that MS may very well create a wireless, standalone Kinect device that can be synced with Xbox, PC, phones.

I think both would work well together. Have a mic array in the console for basic navigation and turn on/off/media usage. And have a mic and speakers in the controller itself for chat and game specific features. As it is now you can't use Kinect for voice chat because it sends everything that is happening in your living room out. Having a targeted mic in the controller helps with that, gets rid of headsets and offers new ideas (I like how WiiU uses speakers in the controller).

I think the new controller may have a fix for the double tap process or may have a Cortana button of sorts. Kinect is great for voice control, but really nothing else. My only problem with a mic in the controller is what if you are wanting to pause while watching something. If you have to grab a controller then why not just press A. We know Cortana won't require Kinect anymore, so it will have to go through a headset, controller mic or possibly an external USB mic... probably be best if it was a combination of all.

What's with that tiny Earth and Moon besides Wheatley lol.
Isn't there a massive planet covering the whole background?

That's Killer Rin's avatar, I cut it out and placed the planets in his avatar for fun.

Also that's space core, Wheatley is on the right.

Oh god, I can't wait to see ReCore. I also wonder if that's the game Katie Cassidy has the leading role in, she said it was Tomb Raider/Lara Croft like.

So Microsoft have been striking up quite a few partnerships' with third party developers over the last few conferences - Insomniac, Playground, Remedy, Platinum, Assemble etc.

Who do you want to see them working with next?

Nah, it would be just a mic for voice commands and interface. At least that's all I hope it would be for, I really don't want the mic to be standard like the kinect was. At launch you could tell who was using the kinect vs the mic they gave vs custom mics they people made. I actually cut my headset and made an input to use my Astros.

The kinect mic was terrible for people with setups and the controller having a mic for actual chat would stink. Just make it more akin to the nvidia TV or Amazon's fire where it's for voice commands and I'll be happy.

Also give me a damn screenshot and video button lol

Sounds like someone needs a chatpad.

Oh.....you want that.....pay for more..... accessories! Just like the mic adapter.

Ford stop trying to nickel and dime me!!!!!

Still find it amazing the PS4 allowed all my old equipment outside of the controller to work correctly. My headsets, microphones no need for anything extra

Microsoft doesn't pay me for nothin'. ;P

The current Xbox One controller will work with any mic.

Also the chatpad is awesome.

Obsidian
Capcom

I'm betting on Capcom too, I think we'll see DR4 at E3.

Call me crazy..

But I feel Dino Crisis should be the IP MS should try for, and leave the zombie stuff to the people doing State of Decay.

Dinosaurs are what's hot right now.

Regardless, I love Dead Rising anyway.

As much as it might erk people I wouldn't mind seeing them buy ARK Survival Evolved and the studio. That game has a ton of potential to be gigantic but could use some good funding.

Yeah, if they want a dinosaur game go for Ark.

But Dino Crisis was amazing, loved playing at the arcades.. wouldn't mind them bringing that back either.

I have yet to play ARK since from what I've heard it doesn't run all too well on the xbone, but I'm interested in it.

Really just hoping for some completely out of left field game announcement because most of the "leaks" this far have presented a very nice, but safe E3 showing for MS.

That's a good idea for them, actually. But it's not the sort of thing that's announced at E3.

There's a much better title that that combination could be working on.

Open world Kart racer like Forza Horizon with Karts? LOL. Could be cool if it has a Splatoon like aesthetic.
