I think everything but the characters look really good. The characters have this weird early 2000s pre-rendered gloss to them.

Yeah it is less value since 0.2 is Ground Zeros in length. So instead of 2 full games + cutscenes you get 1 game, 1 demo, and 1 cutscenes. However, this is really marketed for fans of the series so a casual KH fan would probably be fine just watching it on YT.

Begin with 1.5, then move onto 2.5 then 2.8... Ultimately it will be 5 games and 3 movies in those collections and considering KH3 is probably not coming until later in 2017 (September is my guess) you have a long time to play them.

My biggest issue with Chi story is the game is 99% filler. I seen only 3 relevant scenes out of 300+ levels. I am glad they are putting it in cutscene form because supposedly there are 600 levels in Japan.

just play the 3 hd remixes in release order and you're good. the thing people need to realize is that there are very few kingdom hearts spinoffs, I'd say only coded comes close. the rest were just sidegames, 4 of them really, with birth by sleep being one that might as well have been numbered. It's not that bad outside of the naming scheme. for the most part numbering is more about platform and budget than it's about the others not being "mainline" anyway
