We’re very excited to announce that 2064: Read Only Memories will be coming to PS4 and Vita on August 16!
I’m a big fan of games that let you explore a new world but also let you carve your name into it. That’s why we’ve worked to really cultivate a complex world for players to explore in a way that’s personalized to them.
With our new voices, we’ve worked super hard to find an amazingly talented and diverse cast to tell the story. Some of these characters may be more familiar than you expect, from Melissa Hutchison, voice of Clementine in The Walking Dead, to UpUpDownDown’s Austin Creed (a.k.a. WWE Superstar Xavier Woods), and even Jim Sterling, host of The Jimquisition. You will find 29 fun, scary, goofy, but most importantly very memorable voices in 2064: Read Only Memories.

We’ve been sitting on all of these big names and I’m thrilled to finally announce that we’ll be bringing these voices to you exclusively on PS4 and PS Vita consoles on August 16 2016! It will feature cross buy support, because I hate being torn between going portable or having a bigger screen while being confined to a pretty cozy couch.
You’ll definitely love 2064: Read Only Memories if you’re a fan of games like Phoenix Wright, Dragon Age, and The Walking Dead. Anyone who loves a good story and interesting characters can easily lose themselves in the world of Neo-SF.
Since announcing our game would be joining the PlayStation family of big indie titles, we’ve worked hard on bringing something that we think is really going to push the boundaries of what sort of characters and stories you can expect to find in a game.

Picked this up in the Humble narrative bundle a while back. Such a charming game.

Might double dip for the new stuff, especially if there's a physical release.

really enjoyed the PC version, but not exactly a game I'd play again.

100% worth it if you haven't played it before though.

I loved the game on PC and will definitely double dip to hear those amazing voices.

I can't even begin to imagine who Dan plays.

So this is a Visual Novel or something like that? I'b be willing to give it a try since the trailer looked interesting.

Nope, different guy.

Edit: ah, never mind, I thought you were talking about Adam Harrington

This is scratching all the right itches for me right. Definitely picking up. Zoe Quinn might make it a Day 1 for me.

EDIT: I just got to the end of trailer and WTF?!?!? TODD BRIDGES?!?!?! I can't believe he's still alive! "Whatchu talkin bout Willis" better be a line in the game.

Odd they are announcing the game release 48 years before it comes out.

If I'm still around then and my PS4 is still in working condition I might pick it up though.

I just picked this up yesterday so I could notice the references in Valhalla. I could hold off for the Vita release.

I'm pretty sure he's the only member of the Diff'rent Strokes cast still alive at this point.

I think I might prefer the game without voice work, honestly, but that's an awesome cast. (Can we just agree as an industry to have Dave Fennoy narrate every game?)

I'll definitely double dip to get this on Vita.

This is awesome. Does anyone know if the voices will be added to the PC version eventually?

Starfucker's the embodiment of Dan. He goes out of his way to antagonise people but he has a heart of gold and is smarter than people give him credit for.

I bought it in that narrative Humble Bundle a while back for less than a dollar, but I'm totally down for a physical vita version (LimitedRun Games please). I'm purposefully not playing it because I'm holding off for it tbh.

/edit: eh the voices don't do it for me, but I'm sure we can turn them off...right?

You'll be able to turn them off in the options! It'll just switch back to the original sound effects for text and emotions then.

YouTube comments are predictably a dumpster fire.

This is like the third video game Dan is now in. Hilarious. WTF is his character. Looking forward to this.
