You know. Even though I've popped into almost every thread and put capcom on blast for no good vs AI modes and whatnot, I'm happy that someone is enjoying it and it's having success in some way

Even though I hate and refuse to play online games therefore making sfv useless to me, I've always loved watching evo and the competition

So even if I'm probably done with street fighter as a series and it bums me out, I look forward to the next few years of matchups and evo fun

I don't recall saying that having 2 Capcom games was not lame. I just think it would be better for some of the lesser games to get a chance to be on the Sunday. Although it is worth disclosing that I think Pokken is super boring. No problem with Smash though.

Razer Atrox has fucked up 3 separate times on stages such as these. They seem to be doing just fine. USFIV also had the sound glitch from time to time and it was just fine.

Fighting games aren't Dota. It's not that big compared to other eSports juggernauts, but the community is solid.

Well yeah, but not everyone feels like they are good enough to compete or even want to. This is the best of the best competing for money. It is growing every year though, but not big like LOL tournaments.

SFV is the biggest fish in a small pond. It'll never be Hearthstone or LoL or CS, but no fighter ever will. That's the nature of the genre.

pokemon IP is split into 3 parts between Nintendo, The Pokemon Company and GameFreak

GameFreak makes the mainline games, TPC (The Pokemon Company) deals with marketing and Publishing of all the games and Nintendo usually does the Distributions on their systems

Just curious - when the inevitable vs AI modes are announced & are released, would you come back? Serious question, cause that is assuredly happening at this point. In fact, i'd wait until EVO's Capcom panel for its announcement.

As for SFV, that's such an awesome number of entrants. I'm not sure SF4 ever got to those numbers, that's amazing because it shows that many people are really into this game, many people who never bothered with SF4 love SFV and are playing it.

The other thought, is that with so many entrants, a new killer/s will be born. I imagine some totally new name will rise from the ashes and impress many. A young Daigo calibre player, a better gief player than snakeyez, maybe a fang player will show how to finally play this guy (Sonic Fox), but yes, I'm really stoked for what Evo will bring this year. It will be amazing...especially now that we are on ESPN.....

I'd say 1) it's windows 10 only witch is like 40% of pcs or something like that 2)it's windows store-only which is another subset 3) It's still working up to barely 3 years of total history as a contender.
